In order to avoid shorting out your Cyclades TS when disconnecting the network cable first unplug the cable from the equipment and then from the network jack When reconnecting a network cable to the equipment first plug the cable into the network jack and then into the equipment To help prevent electric shock plug the Cyclades TS into a properly grounded power source The cable is equipped with a 3 prong plug to help ensure proper grounding Do not use adapter plugs or remove the grounding prong from the cable If you have to use an extension cable use a 3 wire cable with properly grounded plugs To help protect the Cyclades TS from electrical power fluctuations use a surge suppressor line conditioner or uninterruptible power supply Be sure that nothing rests on the cables of the Cyclades TS and that they are not located where they can be stepped on or tripped over Do not spill food or liquids on the Cyclades TS If it gets wet contact Cyclades Do not push any objects through the openings of the Cyclades TS Doing so can cause fire or electric shock by shorting out interior components Keep your Cyclades TS away from heat sources and do not block cooling vents Chapter 2 Safety Instructions 7 Cyclades TS Installation amp Service Manual WORKING INSIDE THE CYCLADES TS NOTICE Do not attempt to service the Cyclades TS yourself except following instructions from Cyclades Technical Support personnel If this
