Proper Door Closed Position 2 MOTOR GEAR ENGAGEMENT e Adjust Motor Hold Up Elevator Bolt and jamb nut and Motor Hold Down Bracket to produce a 2 3 engagement of the motor pinion gear into the carriage rack about 1 8 engagement Manual Release Bar Motor Hold Down Bracket Motor Hold Up Elevator Bolt NG Adjust Hold Down Hold Up For 2 3 Rack and Pinion tooth Engagement MANUAL OVERRIDE LINKAGE ADJUSTMENTS e Override Linkages should be adjusted to reflect the conditions shown to the right e Inthe locked position the vertical o linkage pivot point should be 2 above the bell crank pivot e In the full unlocked position lever override completely pulled the vertical linkage pivot point should be below the bell crank pivot e Inthe locked position the stop bolt head should be a nominal 1 8 from the override mounting bracket as shown e When in this position lightly pull the horizontal Linkage in the unlocking direction The compression spring should reliably push the override bar back to the 1 8 dimension shown e Inthe case of a manual override condition and then relocking the manual override Due to the coarseness of the rack and pinion gear the pinion gear may not engage the rack when the override is locked back down In this condition seen at the right the horizontal linkage compression spring will compress and when the motor is run or the door is physically moved the
