Reposer le carburateur et fixer le segment de piston relatif Assembler les diff rents connecteurs de l installation lectrique Poser les composants suivants le cadre secondaire le flexible de reniflard d huile le collecteur d chappement avec le nouveau joint le pot d chappement les protecteurs du moteur et les convoyeurs de radiateur Assembler les manchons du circuit de liquide de refroidissement Si le niveau est insuffisant ajoutez du liquide de refroidissement jusqu au niveau du goulot de remplissage Remplir le carter moteur avec l huile SAE 10 W 40 jusqu la marque de niveau maximum capacit 1 1 litre lors du changement d huile et de filtre capacit 1 0 litre seulement lors du changement d huile Nettoyer et si n cessaire remplacer le filtre air Poser le r servoir de carburant le si ge et les caches lat rales V rifier et r gler la carburation selon le nouveau groupe thermique Athena RODAGE USAGE ET ENTRETIEN Pour le rodage et l entretien conformez vous strictement au MANUEL D USAGE ET D ENTRETIEN DU CONDUCTEUR Utiliser des essences avec au moins 96 octanes Ne forcer pas le moteur pendant les premi res 2 3 heures de course parce qu on peut endommager le groupe thermique On obtient les meilleures performances seulement apr s un bon rodage Il est n cessaire de remplacer le piston au premiers signales de fatigue du groupe thermique pour ne pas com promettre la rotondit de la che
3. tre assembl sur la culasse du cylindre de fa on que les poin onnages 1 et 2 fig C soient align s la surface de la culasse vers le dehors et perpendiculairement Installer les fermoirs et les chapeaux des arbres cames Pour viter d endommager la culasse installer et serrer uniform ment les boulons des chapeaux au couple sp cifi 12 Nem 1 2 kgfem Reposer le tendeur de cha ne de distribution selon les indications suivantes d visser la vis centrale M12 du tendeur de cha ne et glisser le tendeur vers l int rieur du dispositif en agiant sur le doigt qui arr ts la barre du tendeur Fixer le tendeur de cha ne au cylindre avec les deux vis au couple sp cifi 9 8 Nem 1 0 kgf m apr s visser la vis M12 Tourner de quelque r volution l arbre moteur dans le sens inverse aux aiguilles d une montre Contr ler que la r f rence PMS du rotor soit align e avec la r f rence sur le couvercle carter fig B et que le poin onnage sur les roues dent es des arbres cames soit align e et perpendiculaire la surface de la culasse fig C V rifier que le joint couvercle de valve n est pas ab m ni d t rior et le remplacer si n cessaire Reposer le couvercle de soupape et serrer les boulons au couple sp cifi 9 8 Nem 1 0 kgf m Reposer la bougie le capuchon de bougie d allumage et le flexible de reniflard du couvercle de soupape Installer les bouchons sur le c t gauche de l inspection du calage
4. alla superficie della testata fig C e perpen dicolari alla superficie stessa Controllare se la guarnizione del coperchio valvole del cilindro danneggiata o deteriorata e sostituirla con una nuova se necessario Installare il coperchio valvole e stringere i bulloni alla coppia specificata 9 8 Nem 1 0 kgfem Installare la candela il cappuccio della candela ed il tubo di sfiato del coperchio valvole Installare i tappi sul lato sinistro d ispezione fasatura Installare il carburatore e fissare la fascetta relativa Collegare i vari connettori dell impianto elettrico Installare quanto segue il telaio secondario il tubo sfiato olio il collettore di scarico con la nuova guarnizione la marmitta le protezioni del motore e i convogliatori del radiatore Collegare i manicotti del circuito del liquido di raffreddamento Riempire il circuito di raffreddamento con liquido fino al collo del foro di riempimento Riempire il carter motore con l olio SAE 10 W 40 fino al contrassegno del livello superiore capacit 1 1 litri cambio olio e filtro capacit 1 0 litri solo cambio olio Pulire e se necessario sostituire il filtro aria Installare il serbatoio con la valvola carburante il sedile e le coperture laterali Verificare e adeguare la carburazione al nuovo gruppo termico Athena RODAGGIO USO E MANUTENZIONE Per il rodaggio e la manutenzione attenersi scrupolosamente al manuale USO E MANUTENZIONE DEL VEIC
5. facendo attenzione che l anello superiore abbia il contrassegno rivolto verso l alto Coprire l apertura del carter con uno straccio Installare il pistone posizionando il contrassegno della freccia rivolto verso il lato della valvola di scarico Dopo aver lubrificato lo spinotto inserirlo nel pistone facendolo avanzare con la pressione della mano dopo aver inserito gli anelli fermo spinotto accertarsi con scrupolo che gli stessi siano ben sistemati nella loro sede Posizionare la nuova guarnizione base cilindro fornita nel kit Athena e le spine di centraggio sul carter Ungere il foro del cilindro il pistone e le fasce elastiche con olio motore pulito ed installare il cilindro comprimendo le fasce elastiche N B non fare ruotare il cilindro poich ci potrebbe causare la rottura delle fasce elastiche Installare la guida della catena della distribuzione allineando le sue linguette con le scanalature del cilindro Installare le spine di centraggio e la nuova guarnizione testa cilindro fornita nel kit Athena Installare la testata del cilindro con relative rondelle e stringere i dadi seguendo uno schema incrociato in due o tre fasi alla coppia spe cificata 50 Nem 5 0 kgfem Stringere il bullone M6 di montaggio del cilindro alla coppia specificata 12 Nem 1 0 kgfem Stringere i bulloni M6 di montaggio della testata alla coppia specificata 12 Nem 1 2 kgfem ATTENZIONE Per i modelli 2005 montare i bulloni e i d
6. tendicatena 2 fig D Svitare le viti 1 PER EVITARE DI DEFORMARE SUPPORTI DEGLI ALBERI A CAMME E LA TESTATA DEL CILINDRO ALLENTARE DADI DI CIRCA DI GIRO ALLA VOLTA e rimuovere i cappelli albero a camme 2 e i fermagli a graffa fig E Rimuovere l albero a camme di scarico 1 e l albero a camme di aspirazione 2 collegando la catena della distribuzione con una cordicella 3 per evitare che cada nel carter fig F FARE ATTENZIONE A NON FAR CADERE CORPI ESTRANEI NEL CARTER Rimuovere la bobina la testata del cilindro la guarnizione e le spine di centraggio sfilare il cilindro e coprire l imbocco del carter per evitare che vi entrino impurit togliere la guarnizione di base ed il pistone Verificare i seguenti componenti Testata cilindro pulire il cielo della testata da possibili incrostazioni Biella verificare il gioco spinotto attenendosi al manuale uso e manutenzione del veicolo Valvole aspirazione scarico verificare la tenuta e il gioco attenendosi al manuale uso e manutenzione del veicolo Laffidabilita del vostro motore viene garantita anche dalle buone condizioni di questi componenti MONTAGGIO GRUPPO TERMICO Pulire accuratamente i componenti originali che si andranno a riutilizzare e tutti i nuovi componenti del gruppo termico Athena facendo particolare attenzione che non vi siano impurit all interno dei vari canali del cilindro o sul pistone Installare le fasce elastiche evitando di danneggiare il pistone

10. adi forniti nel kit Installare le piastre di supporto del motore Installare l albero a camme di scarico 1 e l albero a camme di aspirazione 2 fig F Nota allineare il riferimento PMS 1 sul rotore al rife rimento 2 sul coperchio del carter quando il pistone si trova nel PMS nella fase di compressione Inserire la catena di distribuzione sulle due ruote dentate dell albero a camme sulla testata del cilindro Nota L albero a camme va montato sulla testata del cilindro in modo tale che le punzonature 1 e 2 fig C siano allineate alla superficie della testata del cilindro verso l esterno e perpendicolarmente Installare i fermagli a graffa e i cappelli degli alberi a camme Installare e stringere i bulloni dei cappelli degli alberi a camme in maniera uniforme per evitare danni alla testata alla coppia specificata 12 Nem 1 2 kgfem Installare il tenditore catena di distribuzione nel seguente modo Svitare la vite centrale M12 del tendicatena e fare scorrere il tendito re verso l interno del dispositivo agendo con le dita sulla levetta che blocca l asta del tenditore Fissare poi il tendicatena al cilindro con le due viti alla coppia specificata 9 8 Nem 1 0 kgf m poi avvitare la vite M12 Ruotare l albero motore in senso antiorario per alcuni giri controllare poi che il riferimento PMS rotore coincida con il riferimento al coper chio carter fig B e che i riferimenti sulle ruote dentate degli alberi a camme siano allineati

12. hase Install the distribution chain on the two toothed wheels of the cam shaft Note the camshaft has to be assembled on the cylinder head so as the punching 1 and 2 picture C are well aligned towards the outside and perpendicularly to the cylinder head surface install the fasteners and the cam haft caps n order to avoid any damage to the head install and tighten evenly all the bolts of the camshaft caps to the specific torque 12 Nem 1 2 kgfem Install the chain tensioner in the following way unscrew the central screw M12 of the chain tensioner and run the chain tensioner towards the inside of the device by working with fingers on the lever that stops the tensioner bar Tighten the chain tensioner to the cylinder with the two screws to the specific torque 9 8 Nem 1 0 kgf m then drive in the screw M12 Rotate the crankshaft anticlockwise for some turns Check that the mark PMS on the rotor is aligned with the reference on the crankcase cover picture B and that the punching on the toothed wheels of the camshafts is aligned and perpendicular to the surface of the cylinder head picture C Check if the valve cover gasket is damaged or worn and replace it with a new one if necessary install the cylinder head cover and tighten the bolts to the specified torque 9 8 Nem 1 0 kgfem install the spark plug the spark plug cap and the breather hose of the cylinder head cover nstall the caps on the left side of the timing survey install the ca

14. nstallation Install the top ring with its marking facing up Cover the opening in the crankcase with a rag Position the piston mark facing to the exhaust valve side After lubricating the piston pin slide it inside the piston pinhole by pushing it with hand after assembling the circlips check carefully that they are well tightened inside their seats Place the new cylinder base gasket supplied with the Athena kit and the dowel pins on the crankcase Coat the cylinder bore piston and piston rings with engine oil and install the cylinder while compressing the piston rings N B Do not rotate the cylinder since this may cause the piston rings to break install the cam chain guide by aligning its tabs with the cylinder grooves install the dowel pins and the new cylinder head gasket supplied in Athena kit Install the cylinder head with its washers and tighten the nuts to the specific torque in a criss cross pattern in two or three steps 50 Nem 5 0 kgfem install and tighten the cylinder mounting bolt M6 to the specific torque 12 Nem 1 0 kgfem install the tighten the cylinder mounting bolts M6 to the specific torque 12 Nem 1 2 kgf m ATTENTION For the models 2005 install the bolts and nuts supplied in the kit install the kit hanger plates install the exhaust camshaft 1 and the inlet cam shaft 2 picture F Note align the mark PMS 1 on the rotor with the reference 2 on the crankcase cover when the piston is on PMS during the compression p

17. oyer bien la part du moteur d monter D monter un apr s l autre les composants suivantes si ge parts en plastique convoyeurs et caches lat rales r servoir silencieux de d charge collecteur de d charge les plaques de support du cylindre et le chassis post rieur Vidanger le liquide de refroidissement d brancher le flexible d eau de la culasse le flexible d eau devant le cylindre le flexible de reniflard de valve couvercle la bougie et le carburateur D poser le valve couvercle et les bouchons de c t gauche 1 fig A du trou de l arbre moteur et positionner le piston sur le PMH la course de d charge Tourner l arbre moteur dans le sens inverse aux aiguilles d une montre avec une cl jusqu aligner la r f rence PMS 2 sur le rotor avec la r f rence 2 sur le couvercle du carter fig B S assurer que le poingonnage 3 1 sur l arbre cames de d charge et le poin onnage 2 sur l arbre cames d admission sont align s la surface de la culasse fig C D visser la vis du tendeur 1 et enlever le tendeur de cha ne 2 fig D D visser les vis 1 pour viter de d former le chapeau d arbre a cames et la culasse du cylindre effectuer un mouvement en zigzag afin de desserrer chaque crou d 1 4 de tour enlever les chapeaux d arbre cames 2 et les fermoirs fig E Enlever l arbre cames de d charge 1 et l arbre cames d admission 2 en enclenchant la cha ne de distribution avec un cordeau 3 pour viter qu il t
