SURE THAT ALL METALLIC COMPONENTS ARE PERFECTLY CLEAN AND FREE OF DAMAGE OR BURRS Grease the internal surface of the body the O ring seats the sliding surfaces of pinion and pistons with the correct lubrificant Pinion Assembly e Install top 18 and bottom pinion bearings 21 and top 19 and bottom 22 pinion O Ring on the shaft e Insert partially the pinion in the body 6 install the travel adjuster 17 in the correct position install the internal bearing gasket 16 e Insert completely the pinion in the body e Fix the external bearing gasket 5 the trust bearing 4 and the spring clip 3 Piston assembly e Install piston O Ring 9 Piston bush 7 and bearing 10 e Holding the body in a horizontal position pres the two pistons 8 simultaneously inside the body until the piston are engaged on the rack teeth e Ensure that the piston in coupling position with the rack are in symmetrical position and their teeth insert simultaneously on the rack tooth e Check the opening and closing positions verifying the correct alignment on the pinion top End Cap and Spring Cartridge assembly e For spring return actuator insert the proper quantity of spring cartridge 27 and 28 according to the pattern shown below e Fit end cap O Ring seal 14 into the groove in the end cap on both end caps e Fit end caps onto the body 6 verifying that the O Ring remains in the Groove e Insert all the screw 11 and tighten in c

14. disassembly operation it s important to verify that the actuator is not pressurized and electrically connected Check that the ports C and L are vented and are free from accessories and devices If the actuator is a spring return unit check that it is in the rest position before disassembly Indicator removal Remove indicators 1 and cap 2 from the pinion top Stop cap screw removal Remove both stop cap screw 26 with nut 25 and washer 24 Remove stop screw O Rings 23 and discard if replacing all soft parts End caps removal Remove the 8 cap screw 11 from end caps 13 when disassembling a spring return actuator end caps should be loose after unscrewing end cap bolts 4 5 turns If there is still force on the end cap after this there could be a damaged spring cartridge and any further disassembly should be discontinued Return actuator to ADLER for further maintenance For spring return actuator always remove spring cartridge 27 e 28 Remove end cap O Rings 14 and discard if replacing all soft parts Piston removal Holding the body 6 in a vice rotate the pinion 20 until the piston are released so they could be disassembled manually If the disassembly is hard use pliers inserting the beaks in the spring holes pay attention to not damage the piston surface Remove piston O Rings 9 using a small screwdriver remove the piston bush 7 and bearing 10 and discard if replacing all soft parts ADLER S

16. ialmente il pignone nel corpo 6 installare la camma 17 nella corretta posizione montare la bussola interna 16 e Inserire completamente il pignone nel corpo e Fissare la bussola esterna 5 la rondella 4 e l anello elastico 3 Assemblaggio pistoni e Installare gli O Ring 9 e gli anelli guida 7 e 10 e Mantenendo il corpo in posizione orizzontale inserire contemporaneamente i 2 pistoni 8 finch non entrano a contatto con la cremagliera e Assicurarsi che i pistoni in posizione di accoppiamento con il pignone siano in posizione simmetrica e che i rispettivi denti si inseriscano contemporaneamente sui denti del pignone e Testare le posizioni di apertura e chiusura verificando il corretto allineamento dell estremit superiore del pignone Assemblaggio molle e culatte e Per attuatore a singolo effetto inserire la corretta quantit di molle 27 e 28 in accordo con lo schema sotto indicato e Montare gli O Ring culatta 14 nelle sedi sulle culatte per entrambe le culatte e Montare le culatta sul corpo 6 e verificare che gli O Ring rimangano nella propria sede e Inserire le viti 11 e serrarle ad incrocio Assemblaggio viti di regolazione e regolazione corsa e Inserire nei fori le viti di regolazione 26 i dadi 25 le rondelle 24 e gli O Ring 23 e Avvitare le viti 26 sul corpo La regolazione corsa per un attuatore a rotazione standard senso orario in chiusura 0 Regolazione corsa
