6. chapter 8 MACHINE The machine can be operated in two different paper binding mode MAN manual the START button must be used to perform each operation on the binding sequence AUTO automatic when the paper are positioned into the book clamp this will automaticly close and start the binding process After this the book clamp including paper will move automaticly to the other side of the machine going through the notching section if activated When a cover is positioned on the cover clamp the book papers will be made through the gluing station and consequently binded on the cover ATTENTION The machine working mode can be selected only after the glue tank have reached the working temperature Or else press RESET if the machine has been started manually in the Maintenance mode Copies It counts the number of copies produced in each working cycle The copy counter can be resetted on the setting menu RESET Reset operation must be performed on the machine after the alarm button has been pressed or if the machine stops during a working cycle for any reason When the notching setting are changed a reset operation is automaticly performed This operation only works if the machine is on ready state and the mode MAN or AUT has already been selected ALARMS If any alarms messages are active the warning symbol will be blinking on the main menu of the machine control panel If the mes sage is red lighted the alarm is still ac
