9. e target Move the sight to the left to make the BB or pellet hit to the left of the target Then tighten the windage adjustment screws by turning them clockwise Fig 10 TARGET WINDAGE RIGHT ADJUSTMENT SCREWS 7 Removing a Jammed BB or Pellet e Do not reload the air gun e Point the airgun in a safe direction e Put the airgun ON SAFE Unload the BBs from the visual magazine See Section 4 2 e With the airgun ON SAFE open the bolt by pulling it all the way back insert a 177 caliber ramrod into the barrel and carefully push the jammed pellet or BB into the load ing port Do not try to reuse that pellet or BB Fig 11 If you are not able to unjam your air gun by following the unloading procedure take no further action An Authorized Service Station will unjam your air gun no cost during the warranty period 8 Maintaining Your Airgun e Before you attempt to oil your airgun make sure the gun is unloaded and air has been removed see section 4 2 e Your airgun will maintain proper function longer if you oil it every 250 shots Put 1 drop of Crosman 0241 Pellgunoil on the pump pivot pins and the pump cup in the pump mechanism Fig 12 DO NOT use petroleum distillate based oil or solvent and DO NOT over oil as this can cause damage to your gun A light coat of Pellgunoil on the barrel helps prevent rust e DO NOT MODIFY OR ALTER YOUR AIRGUN Attempts to modify the airgun in any way inconsistent with this

19. n a SAFE DIRECTION and pull the trigger to fire e Put the air gun ON SAFE See Section 2 1 e Pull the BB follower stem back and latch in the notch e Tilt the barrel upward e With a hand twisting motion shake and twist the air gun until ALL of the BBs are out of the visual magazine Fig 6 e Check to see if there are any BBs in the visual magazine If there are still BBs in the magazine repeat the unloading procedure until the magazine is empty e Take the BB follower stem out of the notch and release it to block BBs from the visual magazine e Cock the bolt by pushing in while pulling all the way back e Pull the bolt all the way back and then push slowly forward noticing if there is a BB on the magnetic bolt TWISTING MOTION e Pump the air gun See Section 3 e Point the air gun in a SAFE DIRECTION take OFF SAFE See Section 2 2 and fire This will unload any BB from the magnetic bolt e Repeat this unloading procedure until no BBs are visible on the magnetic bolt e Another way of unloading the air gun is to follow the directions listed under Section 7 Removing a Jammed BB or Pellet 5 Loading and Unloading Pellets 5 1 Loading a pellet use 177 caliber pellets only e Unload all of the BBs from the air gun See Section 4 2 DO NOT load a pellet when BBs are loaded in the air gun lt may cause a jam e Put the air gun ON SAFE See Section 2 1 e Point the air gun in a SAFE DIRECTION e Pull the bolt a

23. ound the left side of the safety the airgun is OFF SAFE and can be fired WARNING Keer the airgun in the ON SAFE position until you are actually ready to shoot Then push the safety to the OFF SAFE position Push in from left for ON SAFE Push in from right for OFF SAFE 3 Pumping the Airgun WARNING Always hold the forearm firmly when pumping the forearm to prevent possible injury NZD pump your airgun more than 10 times Over pumping can cause major damage to your air rifle Pumping more than 10 times may also leave a small amount of air in the air rifle after it is fired which may allow you to fire a second shot without additional pumping e Put the airgun ON SAFE See Step 2 1 e Open the forearm all the way until it stops Fig 2 Be sure to hold the forearm firmly as you open it It could spring back into the closed position possibly causing injury Place your hands in the same positions shown in Fig 2 in order to avoid being pinched should you lose hold of the forearm Do not twist the forearm while pumping Use straight strokes to prevent breakage e Be sure to use at least three pumps but no more than 10 to prevent the barrel from jamming with a pellet remaining in the barrel after firing e Return the forearm to the original closed position with a smooth stroke Be sure to hold the forearm firmly as you close it Note You must follow the procedure for pumping loading and firing your airgun each time
