14. enados una vez alcanzada la capacidad de la BD La capacidad de la BD depende de la cantidad de informaci n como historial que se quiera conservar Qu puedo hacer con esta herramienta Puedo a trav s de Cacti representar gr ficamente los datos almacenados en la RRD uso de conexi n a internet datos como temperatura velocidad voltaje n mero de impresiones etc La RRD va a ser utilizada para almacenar y procesar datos recolectados v a SNMP En definitiva para hacer uso de una RRDtool lo que se necesita es un sensor para medir los datos y poder alimentar al RRDtool con esos datos Entonces la RRDtool crea una base de datos almacena los datos en ella recupera estos datos y bas ndose en ellos Cacti crea gr ficos en formato PNG Gr ficos Una vez que una o m s fuentes de datos son definidas una gr fica de RRDtool puede ser creada usando los datos obtenidos Cacti permite crear pr cticamente cualquier gr fica utilizando todos los est ndares de tipos de gr ficas de RRDtool y funciones de consolidaci n No s lo se puede crear gr ficos basados en la RRDtool sino que tambi n hay varias formas de mostrarlas Junto con una lista de vistas est ndar y una vista preliminar tambi n existe una vista en rbol la cual permite colocar gr ficos un rbol jer rquico para prop sitos organizacionales Manejo de usuarios Dadas las muchas funciones que ofrece Cacti la herramienta cuenta con la funcionalid
