7. pressed The backlight will remain on for approximately 5 seconds before automatically switching OFF Weather Forecasting The four weather icons Sunny Partly Cloudy Cloudy and Rainy represent the current outdoor weather The weather forecasting is based on changes in barometric pressure There are also two weather tendency indicators to show the direction of air pressure EJES Weather Icons Sunny Partly Cloudy Cloudy Rainy For every significant change in air pressure weather icons will update accordingly to represent the change in weather If the icons do not change it means either the air pressure has not changed or the change has been too slow for the weather station to register However if the icon displayed is a sun or raining cloud there will be no change of icon if the weather improves with sunny icon or worsens with rainy icon since the icons are already at their extremes The icons display the forecast for the weather in terms of conditions improving or worsening not necessarily sunny or rainy as each icon indicates For example if the current weather is cloudy and the rainy icon is displayed it does not make the product faulty because it is not raining It simply means that the air pressure has dropped and the weather is expected to worsen but not necessarily rain OVERVIEW Weather Tendency Indicator The weather tendency indicator arrow is located beside the weather icons to show the current air press

9. to current temperature AAIMPORTANT It is required to reset the outdoor MIN MAX temperature records of different channels separately if there is more than 1 wireless sensor being used In outdoor temperatures mode press the CH key to select a channel The channel ID will be displayed beside the outdoor temperature reading TROUBLESHOOTING Q 1 No signal from remote sensor 1 There can be many reasons for this the following steps should help you troubleshoot this problem Make sure that the batteries in the remote transmitter are not depleted 2 Reduce the distance between wireless sensor and weath er station 3 Remove the batteries from the weather station and the wireless sensor Reset the weather station as described on page 3 of this manual 4 This problem could also be a result of radio interference in your neighborhood try relocating the wireless sensor and the weather station Q 2 Remote sensor drops off intermittently A Possible interference from other sources try relocating the wireless sensor closer to the weather station Radio device operation on the same frequency can also cause interference Q 3 Temperature humidity or the pressure is incorrect A Check and or replace the batteries Also make sure that the wireless sensor is not placed near objects that act as sources of heating or cooling Adjust the relative air pres sure value from a reliable source such as a TV or radio Q 4 Sh
