This sprayer is equipped with an external piston pump system which generates pressure by the up and down motion of a piston In any such system friction between the piston and the cylinder causes normal wear and tear This wear is accelerated by the presence of chemi cals and abrasives such as sand and wettable powders In addition the piston collar is exposed to direct chemical attack All these factors contribute to leaking of the pumping system Therefore proper maintenance of your sprayer is essential To decrease the amount of wear on the cylinder we recommend that only clean water be used and that the water be filtered to remove sand and dirt The rubber piston collar in this unit while made of a unique high grade Viton that is highly resistant to chemicals will also begin to deteriorate after repeated exposure to strong chemicals Thorough cleaning and neutralizing of your sprayer after each use will help extend the life of the piston collar rubber seals and gaskets and the sprayer itself Regular inspection of the piston collar cylinder seals and gaskets is strongly advised if deterioration is seen the affected parts should be replaced immediately with original spare parts Note rubber seals and gas kets require periodic maintenance and are not warrantable once they have been in contact with chemicals Esta aspersora est equipada con un sistema de bombeo externo el cual genera presi n a base de movimientos hacia arriba y abajo

9. he kind of jobs for which it was designed When in doubt ask your dealer Do not leave the sprayer in reach of children or persons not qualified to handle it in proper fashion When not in use and especially during prolonged storage keep your sprayer in a protected place away from direct solar heat Make sure the spray hose loops freely without kinking or squeezing Always use original replacement parts HOW TO ASSEMBLE 1 Attach spray wand to flow control and tighten firmly 2 Take pump handle 626 and insert into the tube on the pump lever 625 You will notice holes drilled through both sides of both the pump handle and the pump lever Align these holes take the clevis pin 624 and place through the holes Flip locking pin over to snap it into place This affixes the handle in place and is ready for use For storage reverse the process HOW TO PREPARE YOUR UNIT FOR USE 1 Remove cap 2 Mix solution in a separate receptacle following manufacturers directions on the container 3 Pour pre mixed solutions into sprayer and replace cap 4 Place sprayer on back and pressurize tank by pumping approximately 10 to 15 times For best results the sprayer should be pumped every 5 seconds ona continuous basis This will maintain your spraying pressure If you do not pump you will not have ressure to spray HOW TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN 1 Remove cap and pour out remaining solution then rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water 2
