2. magnetshade Magnetic Roman Shade Owner s Handbook Magnetic Roman Shade INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Step 1 Check Package Contents Missing part Call 800 264 1190 Mounting hardware kit includes the following Part Quantity a Mounting Bracket 2 shades up to 36 7 8 wide 3 shades up to 47 7 8 wide 4 shades up to 72 wide b 198 Screws 2 per bracket c Operating Handle 1 shades up to 59 7 8 wide 2 shades up to 72 wide Note one extra screw of each noted size is included for convenience Step 2 Tools Required Pencil tape measure screw driver drill step stool Step 3 Bracket Location and Installation Your shade may be installed either inside the window frame or outside the window frame One mounting bracket should be positioned about 2 to 4 from each end of the head rail For wider shades that require 3 or 4 brackets these should be spaced evenly between the two outermost brackets For Outside Mounting Clip the brackets onto the head rail as described in Step 4 see below Hold the shade level at the height desired and center it over the window opening Mark the exact location of each bracket with a pencil Remove the brackets from the head rail and position the top of each bracket at the marked location Attach each bracket using the 1 screws predrill the screw holes using a drill bit For Inside Mounting Clip the brackets onto the head rail as describe

6. d in Step 4 see below Hold the shade in place and make a pencil mark at the rear of each bracket where it contacts the inside of the window frame Remove the brackets from the head rail and align them with the marks Attach each bracket using the 1 screws predrill the screw holes using a 4 drill bit Step 4 Securing the Head Rail Lift the head rail into position such that the front edge of each bracket is under the inner front edge of the head rail see illustration Position the tongue on each bracket so that it engages the slot in the head rail tighten with a screw driver Check carefully to assure that each bracket is properly secured 3 Step 5 Attach the Operating Handle The handle clips onto the bottom fold not the bottom of the shade See Drawing Note Wider shades have 2 Handles always grasp both handles when lifting and lowering the shade Step 6 How To Operate To raise the shade grip the handle and lift the bottom fold so that it contacts the magnets in the 2nd fold above it There are magnets in every other fold so raising the shade is a sequential process Lift amp Attach and then Lift amp Attach again until the shade is raised as much as desired Note that the number of folds varies based on the length of the shade so you might have to Lift amp Attach up to four times to fully raise the shade The handle is designed to minimize contact with the shade fabric Always raise and lower the shad

10. rcas Fije cada soporte con tornillos de 14 Perfore los hoyos usando una broca de 4 Paso 4 Aseguramiento del Riel Sostenga el riel en posici n de manera que el borde frontal de cada soporte queda bajo el borde interior del riel mire ilustraci n Posicione la lengua de cada soporte de manera que agarra la ranura en el riel apriete con un destornillador Cerci rense que cada soporte queda bien asegurado 9 Paso 5 Fijamiento de la Manija de Operaci n La manija se agarra del ltimo doblez no del la parte inferior de la cortina Mire el Dibujo Nota Cortinas m s anchas tienen 2 manijas siempre agarre ambas manijas cuando levante o suelte la cortina Paso 6 C mo Operar la Cortina Para levantarla agarre la manija y levante el doblez inferior de manera que hace contacto con los imanes del segundo doblez hacia arriba Hay imanes cada dos dobleces de manera que levantar la cortina conlleva pasos secuenciales Levante 8 Pegue y luego Levante amp Pegue hasta que la cortina queda a la altura deseada Note que el n mero de dobleces varia con el largo de la cortina de manera que podr a Levantar amp Pegar hasta 4 veces para tener la cortina totalmente levantada La manija est dise ada para minimiza el contacto con la tela Siempre levante y suelte la cortina despacio para que los dobleces queden siempre acomodados Para soltarla agarre la manija y suavemente hale hacia abajo doblez inferior
