1. You can use your monitor and Health Care Software System to view your test results on your personal computer To learn more about the Health Care Software System please contact local customer services or the place of purchase for assistance Step 1 Installing the software To download the Health Care Software System please visit the ForaCare Inc website http www foracare com Step 2 Connecting to a personal computer The meter will automatically initiate searching for the compatible Bluetooth receiver and start the data transmission after the measurement the calibration exit the meter memory or finish ing the setting The BT indicator will light up in blue and start blinking Step 3 Data transmission When the BT indicator is blinking this indicates that the meter is searching for pairing When the BT indicator shows a steady blue light the meter has connected to the Bluetooth receiver and the transmission is going to begin The BT indicator will blink for 3 minutes If the compatible Bluetooth receiver was not found then the indicator would be off automatically afterwards NOTE e Make sure your PC has Bluetooth before transmitting the data and the meter is within the receiving range e While the meter is connected to the PC it is unable to test for blood glucose 31 MAINTENANCE Battery Your meter comes with two 1 5V AAA size alkaline batteries gt Low Battery Signal The meter will display on

7. a new vial of test strips by setting the meter with the correct code Test results may be inaccurate if the code number displayed on the monitor does not match the number printed on the strip vial How to Code Your Meter Step 1 Insert the code strip when the meter is off Wait until the code number appears on the display NOTE Make sure the code number on display code strip and test strip vial are the same 18 Step 2 Remove the code strip the display will show OK m Va This tells you that the meter has finished coding and Ll jn is ready for blood glucose testing Checking the Code Number You need to make sure that the code number displayed on the meter matches the number on the test strip vial before you proceed If it matches you can proceed with your test If the codes do not match please stop testing and repeat the calibration procedure If the problem persists contact Customer Service for help Warning It is important to make sure that the LCD displayed code is the same as the code on the test strip vial before testing Failure to do so will get inaccurate results 19 Control Solution Testing Our Control Solution contains a known amount of glucose that reacts with test strips and is used to ensure your meter and test strips are working together correctly Do a control solution test when e you first receive the monitor at least once a week to routinely check the monitor
