1. Installare il tenditore catena di distribuzione nel seguente modo svitare la vite centrale M12 del tendicatena e fare scorrere il tenditore verso l interno del dispositivo agendo con le dita sulla levetta che blocca l asta del tenditore Fissare poi il tendicatena al cilindro a 9 8 Nem 1 0 kgfem con le due viti poi avvitare la vite M12 Ruotare l albero motore in senso antiorario per alcuni giri controllare poi che il riferimento PMS rotore coincida con il riferimento al coperchio carter fig e che i riferimenti sulle ruote dentate degli alberi a camme siano allineati alla superficie della testata fig C e perpendicolari alla superficie stessa Controllare se la guarnizione del coperchio valvole del cilindro danneggiata o deteriorata e sostituirla con una nuova se necessario Installare il coperchio valvole e stringere i bulloni a 9 8 Nem 1 0 kgfem Montare la candela il cappuccio della candela ed il tubo di sfiato del coperchio valvole Installare i tappi sul lato sinistro d ispezione fasatura il corpo farfallato e fissare la fascetta relativa Installare quanto segue il telaio secondario il tubo benzina del secondo iniettore il tubo sfiato olio il collettore di scarico con la nuova guarnizione la marmitta le protezioni del motore ed i convogliatori del radiatore Collegare i vari connettori dell impianto elettrico Collegare i manicotti del circuito del liquido di raffreddamento Riempire il circuito di raffreddamento2. cr A gr gett rts i D ISTRUZIONI DI MONTAGGIO GRUPPO TERMICO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS CYLINDER KIT CFD INSTRUCTIONS DE MONTAGE KIT CYLINDRE ALESAGGIO CORSA CILINDRATA RAPPORTO DI COMPRESSIONE ATHENA ISTRUZIONI DI MONTAGGIO GRUPPO TERMICO Athena vi ringrazia per la preferenza accordatale rimane comunque sempre a disposizione per rispondere alle vostre esigenze Buon lavoro ATTENZIONE Questo gruppo termico modifica i parametri di iniezione pertanto la moto potrebbe risultare magra se cos fosse obbligatorio modificare la quantit di benzina che suggeriamo venga fatta con l acquisto della centralina sosti tutiva GET la cui mappa scaricabile dal sito www getdata it Fer la centralina GET POWER arancione entrare nella sezione GET PERFORMANCE CENTER ed effettuare il download ella mappa big bore Per la centralina GP1 EVO blu entrare nella sezione OFF ROAD ed effettuare il download della mappa big bore L utilizzo della centralina aggiuntiva GET oltre a migliorare i parametri di iniezione incrementa le prestazioni del motore OPERAZIONI PRELIMINARI E SMONTAGGIO Lavare accuratamente il veicolo ed il motore Smontare in sequenza Sella plastiche serbatoio silenziatore scarico collettore scarico e piastre fissaggio gruppo termico Sganciare tubo benzina e connettore di comando del secondo iniettore ed il connettore del sensore di pressione Rimuovere il tel
3. avec les rondelles correspondantes puis serrer les crous en suivant un sch ma crois en deux ou trois phases selon le couple indiqu 50 Nem 5 0kgfem Serrer le boulon M6 de montage de la culasse selon le couple indiqu 10 Nem 1 0 kgfem Serrer les boulons M6 de montage de la t te de cylindre selon le couple indiqu 12 Nem 1 2 kgfem Installer les plaques de supports du moteur Installer l arbre cames d chappement 1 et arbre cames d aspiration 2 Remarque aligner la r f rence PMH 1 sur le rotor la r f rence 2 sur le couvercle du carter lorsque le piston se trouve dans le PMH dans la phase de compression Ins rer la cha ne de distribution sur les deux roues dent es de l arbre cames sur la culasse du cylindre Remarque L arbre cames doit tre mont sur la culasse de telle mani re que les poin onnages 1 et 2 fig soient bien align s la surface de la culasse du cylindre vers l ext rieur et perpendiculairement Fixer les broches clip et les supports des arbres cames Placer et serrer les boulons des supports des arbres cames de mani re uniforme pour viter des dommages la culasse au couple sp cifi 12 Nem 1 2 kgfem Installer le tendeur de la cha ne de distribution de la mani re suivante d visser la vis centrale M12 du tendeur de la cha ne et faire glisser le tendeur vers l int rieur du dispositif en intervenant avec les doigts sur le petit levier qui bloqu
4. con liquido fino al collo del foro di riempimento Riempire il carter motore con l olio SAE 10 W 40 fino al contrassegno del livello superiore capacit 1 1 litri cambio olio e filtro capacit 1 0 litri solo cambio olio Pulire e se necessario sostituire il filtro aria Installare il serbatoio la sella e le coperture laterali RODAGGIO USO E MANUTENZIONE Per il rodaggio e la manutenzione attenersi scrupolosamente al manuale USO E MANUTENZIONE DEL VEICOLO Non utilizzare benzine con meno di 96 ottani Non forzare il motore per le prime 2 3 ore d utilizzo poich si rischierebbe di danneggiare il gruppo termico inoltre le massime prestazioni si avranno dopo un buon rodaggio opportuno sostituire il pistone al primo cenno di affaticamento del kit per non compromettere la rotondit della canna del cilindro Limite di servizio pistone consigliamo di sostituirlo dopo 15 ore di lavoro Ci permettiamo di ricordarVi che non il singolo pezzo ma la completezza dell insieme che fa raggiungere al vostro motore il massimo delle prestazioni Si suggerisce il montaggio dei prodotti contenuti in questo kit da parte di tecnici specializzati se difetti e o problemi venissero causati da una cattiva installazione sar declinata ogni ns responsabilit per ogni qualsivo glia danno o pretesa tecnica ed economica nei ns confronti Quanto scritto su questo foglio d istruzioni non si intende impegnativo La ditta Athena si riserva il d

6. the outside and perpendicular to the cylinder head surface Install the fasteners and the camshaft supports In order to avoid any damage to the head install and tighten evenly all the bolts of the camshaft supports to the specific torque 12 Nem 1 2 kgfem Install the chain tensioner in the following way unscrew the central screw M12 of the chain tensioner and run the chain tensioner towards the inside of the device by working with your fingers on the lever that stops the tensioner bar Then fix the chain tensioner to the cylinder at 9 8 Nem 1 0 kgfem with the two screws then tighten the screw M12 Rotate the crankshaft anticlockwise for some turns Check that the TDC mark on the rotor is aligned with the reference on the crankcase cover picture B and that the punching on the toothed wheels of the camshafts is aligned and perpendicular to the surface of the cylinder head picture C Check if the valve cover gasket is damaged or worn and replace it with a new one if necessary Install the cylinder head cover and tighten the bolts to the specified torque 9 8 Nem 1 0 kgfem Install the spark plug the spark plug cap and the vent pipe of the cylinder head cover Install the caps on the left side of the timing survey Install the throttle body and fix the corresponding hose band Connect all the connectors of the electric circuit Install the following components the secondary frame the petrol pipe of the second injector the oil breath

GET POWER orange electronic unit click on GET PERFORMANCE CENTER and download the big bore map For GP1 EVO blue electronic unit click on OFF ROAD and download the big bore map Use of the additional GET control unit aside from improving injection parameters increases motor performance PRELIMINARY INSTRUCTIONS AND DISASSEMBLY Clean the bike and the engine area thoroughly Remove one by one the following components seat plastic parts conveyors and side covers fuel tank exhaust silencer exhaust manifold cylinder kit hanger plates and rear frame Detach petrol pipe and control connector of the second injector and pressure sensor connector Remove rear frame After draining the coolant disconnect the water hose from the head the water hose in front of the cylinder the valve cover vent pipe the spark plug and the throttle body Remove the valve cover and the covers on the left hand side 1 picture A of the crankshaft hole Place the piston on the exhaust stroke TDC Top Dead Centre Turn the crankshaft anticlockwise with a spanner and align the TDC mark 2 on the rotor with the index mark 2 on the crankcase cover picture B Make sure that the punching 3 1 on the exhaust cam shaft and the punching 2 on the inlet camshaft are well aligned on the surface of the cylinder head and perpendicular to the surface itself picture C Unscrew the screw of the timing chain tensioner 1 and take off the chain tensioner 2 picture D Unscrew the s
8. aio posteriore Dopo avere svuotato il liquido di raffreddamento togliere il tubo dell acqua della testata il tubo dell acqua davanti al cilindro il tubo di sfiato del coperchio valvole la candela ed il corpo farfallato Togliere il coperchio valvole ed i tappi sul lato sinistro 1 fig A del foro albero motore e posizionare il pistone sul punto morto superio re ruotando l albero motore in senso antiorario con una chiave sino ad allineare il riferimento PMS 2 sul rotore al riferimento 2 sul coperchio del carter fig B Accertarsi quindi che la punzonatura 3 1 sull albero a camme di scarico e la punzonatura 2 sull albero camme di ammissione siano allineate alla superficie della testata cilindro e perpendicolare alla superficie stessa fig C Svitare la vite del tenditore 1 e rimuovere il tendicatena 2 fig D Svitare le viti 1 per evitare di deformare i supporti degli alberi a camme la testata del cilindro allentare i dadi di circa 1 4 di giro alla volta e rimuovere i supporti albero a camme 2 e i fermagli a graffa fig E Rimuovere l albero a camme di scarico 1 e l albero a camme di aspirazione 2 collegando la catena della distribuzione con una cordicella 3 per evitare che cada nel carter Fare attenzione a non fare cadere corpi estranei nel carter Rimuovere la bobina la testata del cilindro la guarnizione e le spine di centraggio sfilare il cilindro e coprire l imbocco del carter evitare che vi entrino impuri
9. ces MONTAGE DU GROUPE THERMIQUE Nettoyer soigneusement les pi ces originales qui seront r utilis es ainsi que toutes les nouvelles pi ces du groupe thermique Athena en pr tant une attention particuli re ce qu il n y ait pas d impuret s l int rieur des divers canaux de la culasse ou sur le piston Installer les segments de piston en vitant d endommager le piston et en s assurant que la marque de la bague sup rieure soit dirig e vers le haut Couvrir l ouverture du carter avec un linge Installer le piston en positionnant la marque de la fl che direction de la valve d chappement Apr s avoir lubrifi l axe l introduire dans le piston en le faisant avancer avec la pression de la main apr s avoir introduit les bagues de serrage de s assurer scrupuleusement que ces derni res soient dispos es dans leur logement Positionner le nouveau joint d embase de la culasse fourni dans le kit Athena et les pieds de centrage sur le carter Graisser le corps du cylindre le piston et les segments avec de l huile pour moteur propre puis installer la culasse en compri mant les segments N B Ne pas tourner la culasse car cela pourrait causer la rupture des segments Installer le guide cha ne de la distribution en alignant ses languettes avec les rainures du cylindre Installer les pieds de centrage ainsi que le nouveau joint t te culasse fourni dans le kit Athena Installer la t te de cylindre
10. crews 1 to avoid warping the camshaft holder and the cylinder head loosen each nut about 1 4 turn and remove the camshaft supports 2 and the fasteners picture E Remove the exhaust camshaft 1 and the inlet camshaft 2 by connecting the distribution timing chain with a string 3 to prevent it from falling into the crankcase picture F Be careful not to drop any foreign bodies into the crankcase Remove the coil the cylinder head the gasket and the dowel pins slip the cylinder off and cover the crankcase opening to prevent impurities from falling into it Remove the dowel pins and the piston Check the following components CYLINDER HEAD clean the combustion chamber from possible carbon incrustations CONNECTING ROD check the piston pin clearance by referring to the use and maintenance manual INLET EXHAUST VALVES check the tightness and the clearance by referring to the use and maintenance manual The reliability of your engine is guaranteed by the good conditions of these elements INSTALLING THE CYLINDER KIT Thoroughly clean all the original components you are replacing and all the new components of the Athena cylinder kit Make sure that there are no residues left inside the various cylinder channels or on the piston Install the piston rings and avoid piston damage during installation Install the top ring with its marking facing up Cover the opening in the crankcase with a rag Position the piston arrow mark facing to the exhaust valve si
11. de After lubricating the piston pin slide it inside the piston pinhole by pushing it with your hand after assembling the circlips careful ly check that they are well tightened in their seatings Place the new cylinder base gasket supplied with the Athena kit and the dowel pins on the crankcase Lubricate the cylinder bore piston and piston rings with clean engine oil and install the cylinder while compressing the piston rings NOTE Do not rotate the cylinder since this may cause the piston rings to break Install the dumper timing chain by aligning its tabs with the cylinder grooves Install the centring dowel pins and the new cylinder head gasket supplied with the Athena kit Install the cylinder head with its washers and tighten the nuts to the specific torque in a criss cross pattern in two or three steps 50 Nem 5 0 kgfem Install and tighten the cylinder mounting bolt M6 to the specific torque 10 Nem 1 0 kgfem Install and tighten the cylinder head mounting bolts M6 to the specific torque 12 Nem 1 2 kgfem Install the kit hanger plates Install the exhaust camshaft 1 and the inlet camshaft 2 picture F Note align the TDC mark 1 on the rotor with the reference 2 on the crankcase cover when the piston is on TDC during the compression phase Install the timing chain on the two toothed wheels of the camshaft Note the camshaft has to be assembled on the cylinder head so as the punching 1 and 2 picture C are well aligned towards
12. e con olio motore pulito ed installare il cilindro comprimendo le fasce elastiche N B Non fare ruotare il cilindro poich ci potrebbe causare la rottura delle fasce elastiche Installare la guida della catena della distribuzione allineando le sue linguette con le scanalature del cilindro Installare le spine di centraggio e la nuova guarnizione testa cilindro fornita nel kit Athena Montare la testata del cilindro con relative rondelle e stringere i dadi seguendo uno schema incrociato in due o tre fasi a 50 Nem 5 0kgfem Stringere il bullone M6 di montaggio del cilindro a 10 Nem 1 0 kgfem Stringere i bulloni M6 di montaggio della testata a 12 Nem 1 2 kgfem Installare le piastre di supporto del motore Installare l albero a camme di scarico 1 e l albero a camme di aspirazione 2 Nota allineare il riferimento PMS 1 sul rotore al riferimento 2 sul coperchio del carter quando il pistone si trova nel PMS nella fase di compressione Inserire la catena di distribuzione sulle due ruote dentate dell albero a camme sulla testata del cilindro Nota L albero camme va montato sulla testata del cilindro in modo tale che le punzonature 1 e 2 fig siano allineate alla superficie della testata del cilindro verso l esterno e perpendicolarmente Installare i fermagli a graffa ed i supporti degli alberi a camme Installare e stringere i bulloni dei supporti degli alberi a camme a 12 Nem 1 2 kgfem in maniera uniforme per evitare danni alla testata
13. e la tige du tendeur Fixer ensuite le tendeur de cha ne la culasse au couple 9 8 Nem 1 0 kgfem avec les deux vis puis visser la vis M12 Tourner l arbre moteur dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d une montre de quelques tours contr ler ensuite que la r f rence PMH rotor coincide avec la r f rence au couvercle du carter fig B et que les r f rences sur les roues dent es des arbres cames soient align es la surface de la culasse fig C et perpendiculaires la surface elle m me Contr ler si le joint du couvercle de soupapes de la culasse est endommag ou d t rior et si n cessaire la remplacer avec un nouveau joint Installer le couvercle de soupapes et serrer les boulons selon le couple indiqu 9 8 Nem 1 0 kgfem Installer la bougie le capuchon de bougie et le tube d vent du couvercle de soupapes Monter les bouchons sur le c t gauche d inspection du calage Installer le carburateur puis fixer le collier correspondant Brancher les divers connecteurs de l quipement lectrique Installer ce qui suit le ch ssis secondaire le tuyau essence du second injecteur le tuyau d vent de l huile le collecteur d chappement avec le nouveau joint le pot d chap pement les protections du moteur et les convoyeurs du radiateur Brancher les manchons du circuit du liquide de refroidissement Remplir le circuit de refroidissement avec du liquide jusqu au col du trou de remplissage Remplir le carter

18. l arbre came d chappement et le poin onnage 2 sur l arbre came d admission sont bien align s la surface de la t te de cylindre et perpendiculaire la surface elle m me fig C D visser la vis du tendeur 1 et enlever le tendeur de cha ne 2 fig D D visser les vis 1 pour viter de d former les supports des arbres came et la t te de cylindre desserrer les crous d de tour la fois et enlever les supports de l arbre came 2 et les broches clip fig E Enlever l arbre came d chappement 1 et l arbre came d aspiration 2 en raccordant la cha ne de distribution avec une ficelle pour viter qu elle ne tombe dans le carter Faire attention ne pas faire tomber des corps trangers dans le carter Enlever la bobine la t te de cylindre le joint et les pieds de centrage d bo ter le cylindre et couvrir l entr e du carter pour viter que des impuret s ne s y introduisent enlever le joint d embase les pieds de centrage et le piston V rifier les pi ces suivantes DE CYLINDRE nettoyer les ventuels encrassements au fond de la culasse BIELLE v rifier le jeu de en suivant les indications du manuel d utilisation et d entretien du v hicule SOUPAPES D ASPIRATION ECHAPPEMENT v rifier l tanch it et le jeu se conformant au Manuel d utilisation et d entretien du v hicule La fiabilit de votre moteur est galement garantie par les bonnes conditions de ces pi
19. le site www getdata it LEBEN pe Pour le bo tier GET POWER orange entrez dans la section GET PERFORMANCE CENTER et t l chargez la mappe big bore Pour le bo tier GP1 EVO bleu entrez dans la section OFF ROAD et t l chargez la mappe big bore L utilisation de l unit lectronique suppl mentaire GET en plus d am liorer les param tres d injection augmente les performances du moteur OPERATIONS PREALABLES ET DEMONTAGE Laver soigneusement le v hicule et le moteur D monter dans l ordre Selle plastiques r servoir silencieux d chappement collecteur d chappement plaques de fixation du groupe thermique D crocher tuyau essence et connecteur de commande du second injecteur et le connecteur du capteur de pression Enlever le ch ssis arri re Apr s avoir vid le liquide de refroidissement enlever le tuyau de l eau de la culasse le tuyau de l eau de la t te de cylindre le tuyau de l eau devant la culasse le tube d vent du couvercle des soupapes la bougie et le bo tier papillon Enlever le couvercle des soupapes et les bouchons sur le c t gauche 1 fig A du trou de l arbre moteur et positionner le piston sur le point mort sup rieur en tournant le vilebrequin dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d une montre avec une cl jusqu aligner la r f rence PMH 2 sur le rotor la r f rence 2 sur le couvercle du carter fig S assurer ensuite que le poin onnage 3 1 sur
20. t togliere la guarnizione di base le spine di centraggio ed il pistone Verificare i seguenti componenti TESTATA CILINDRO pulire il cielo della testata da possibili incrostazioni BIELLA verificare il gioco spinotto attenendosi al manuale uso e manutenzione del veicolo VALVOLE ASPIRAZIONE SCARICO verificare la tenuta ed il gioco attenendosi al manuale uso e manutenzione del veicolo L affidabilita del motore viene garantita anche dalle buone condizioni di questi componenti MONTAGGIO GRUPPO TERMICO Pulire accuratamente i componenti originali che si andranno a riutilizzare e tutti i nuovi componenti del gruppo termico Athena facendo particolare attenzione che non vi siano impurit all interno dei vari canali del cilindro 0 sul pistone Installare le fasce elastiche evitando di danneggiare il pistone facendo attenzione che l anello superiore abbia il contrassegno rivolto verso Palto Coprire del carter con uno straccio Installare il pistone posizionando il contrassegno della freccia rivolto verso il lato della valvola di scarico Dopo aver lubrificato lo spinotto inserirlo nel pistone facendolo avanzare con la pressione della mano dopo aver inserito gli anelli fermo spinotto accertarsi con scrupolo che gli stessi siano ben sistemati nella loro sede Posizionare la nuova guarnizione base cilindro fornita nel kit Athena e le spine di centraggio sul carter Ungere il foro del cilindro il pistone e le fasce elastich
