4. lt water eAvoid extreme shocks Test your watch for water resistance after any problem eNever open your watch yourself HELIUM VALVE The helium valve meets the needs of divers who spend several days in hyperbaric chambers and breathe an extremely helium enriched gaseous mixture The powerful pressure exercised on the helium reduces the size of its particles and enables it to seep even more easily into the chronograph When rising to the surface the gas particles expand as the pressure decreases creating overpressure inside the piece The helium valve is thus automatically activated to allow the gas to escape and prevent any deterioration of the product CONDENSATION If the temperature changes suddenly a slight condensation may appear under the crystal of your watch This mist will disappear by itself and will not affect the functioning of the watch If the condensation persists please see your official BEUCHAT dealer RECYCLING OF BATTERIES Used batteries watch components and electronic watches should not be disposed in litters but correctly recycled according to local regulations We recommend you to return such parts to your nearest dealer BEUCHAT is committed recycling batteries They are given to a specialized company Beuchat tryes to use most often lithium battery no mercury no cadmium in order to preserve the environment WATER RESISTANCE CHART Refer to the table below for proper use guidelines for your watch 3 AT
5. nd hand B SETTING THE TIME 1 Pull the crown out to the 2nd position 2 Turn the crown to set hour and minute hands 3 When the crown is pushed back to the normal position small second hand begins to run 2nd Time 0 hour to 24 hours C SETTING THE DATE 1 Pull the crown out to the 1st position 2 Turn the crown clockwise to set the date If the date is set between the hours of around 9 00 PM and 2 00 AM the date may not change on thefollowing day 3 After the date has been set push the crown back to the normal position D SETTING THE 2nd TIME 24 Hours 1 Pull the crown out to the 1st position 2 Turn the crown counter clockwise to set the 2nd time 24H 3 After the 2nd time 24H has been set push the crown back to the normal position CONSEILS D UTILISATION Afin de conserver votre montre dans les meilleures conditions certaines r gles d utilisation doivent tre respect es Faire v rifier l tanch it de votre montre apr s chaque changement de pile ePour les montres couronne viss e d visser le remontoir avant tout r glage Prenez soin de le revisser une fois les manipulations termin es ePour les montres couronne viss e et pour certains chronographes poussoirs viss s v rifier leur position avant chaque immersion et veiller ce qu ils soient serr s fond eNe jamais actionner les boutons ou la couronne si la montre est immerg e ou mouill e eEviter de laisser votre montre dans de
