3. temperature at which the fault indicator and safety cut out is initiated 5 Safety Advice Before Use gt The unit should be carried using both hands with fingers under each side frame gt Never move or carry the unit with dishes on the top plate or while the unit is connected to the mains electricity supply 6 Operation Position the apparatus on a firm level surface ensuring there is sufficient room to open the door upward Ensure the temperature control knob is fully to the left and switch the mains and heater ON Loading the Trays The door can be partly opened by simply lifting the clear acrylic upward For greater access e g during cleaning the entire door can be opened upward The trays are designed to facilitate air flow around the incubator They are captured for easy and safe loading but can be completely removed for cleaning purposes Temperature Selection De press and hold the press to set switch At the same time turn the temperature control knob and adjust until the desired temperature appears on the display On releasing the set switch the display will revert to the actual temperature of the oven The load indicator will remain lit until the desired temperature setting is reached at which time it will flash Setting the over temp safety cut out Once the desired temperature has been reached the load indicator is flashing turn the over temp control knob to about 20 C higher than the set temperature u

5. arts of the Incubator The door is made from 10mm clear acrylic and opens upwards saving space and giving outstanding access and visibility A stainless steel drip tray is provided with each incubator 4 Controls Figure 1 shows the controls for the S118 Over Tem Mains p OnOff Temperature Control Set Switch Heater On Off Mains On Off This is a rocker type switch Pressing the top switches the unit on and pressing the bottom switches the unit off The switch is illuminated when the unit is on Heater On Off This is a rocker type switch Pressing the top switches the heater on and pressing the bottom switches the heater off The switch is illuminated when the unit is on Press to Set Switch This is a plain colour biased rocker switch Pressing and holding the switch down displays the set temperature Temperature control This knob is used to set the temperature of the incubator in conjunction with the press to set switch Load Indicator An amber LED illuminates when the heater is in operation This light remains on while the incubator is reaching the set temperature and flashes when the set temperature is reached Fault Indicator This is a red warning light When lit it indicates a fault has occurred and the temperature safety cut off as been initiated Digital L C D This is used to display both the actual and set temperature of the incubator in C The range is ambient to 60 C Over Temp This knob changes the
