15. entfernen Die Pumpe ist zum Anschlu mit einem 1 2 Innengewinde ausger stet Mit Hilfe passender Anschlu st cke siehe Abb 3 und Abschnitt 1 4 kann die Pumpe wahlweise an die Anlage angeschlossen werden Auch der bergang zu einer Kleinflansch Verbindung ist m glich Zu einer Kleinflansch Verbindung nach ISO wird immer ein Spannring 2 4 und ein Zentrierring 3 3 mit zugeh rigem O Ring ben tigt An das T St ck kann ein MeBinstrument 3 11 oder ein Bel ftungsventil 3 12 angeschlossen werden Der Querschnitt der Ansaugleitung sollte min destens die Gr e des Pumpenanschlusses erreichen Eine Ansaugleitung mit zu gerin gem Querschnitt drosselt das Saugverm gen Wir empfehlen die Schraubverbindungen mit LOCTITE 572 oder 577 oder mit Teflonband zu montieren um ihre Vakuumdichtheit zu gew hrleisten Falls im angesaugten Medium St ube auftreten sollte unbedingt ein Staubfilter eingebaut werden siehe Abschnitt 1 4 Wir empfehlen den Staubfilter waagerecht anzubauen Damit kann verhindert werden daB bei Demontage des Filters abgeschiedene Partikel in den Ansaugstutzen geraten Beim Absaugen von D mpfen empfehlen wir Abscheider auf der Saugseite und auf der Auspuffseite einzusetzen siehe Abschnitt 1 4 Achten Sie darauf daB sich keine AN Fremdk rper oder Fl ssigkeiten in der Vakuumpumpe befinden Vorsicht AN Die Saugleitung sollte mit einer elastischen Rohrverbindung span nungsfrei a
16. operating temperature Open the gas ballast valve by turning the black cap 8 62 until the hole in the side of the cap is aligned with the orifice in the side of the metal ferrule Close the valve by turning the cap until it covers the orifice in the metal ferrule The running noise of the pump is slightly louder if the gas ballast valve is open When vapors are pumped ensure that the pump has run for at least 15 min with closed intake line and open gas ballast Important The pump cannot handle its maximum vapor throughput until it has reached its operating temperature Note For processes with a high proportion of condensable vapors the intake line should be opened slowly after reaching the operating temperature to prevent excessive quantities of vapors entering the pump One sign of vapor condensation in the pump is a rise in the pumps oil level during operation Caution When vapors are pumped the SOGEVAC must not be switched off immediately upon completion of the process because the condensate dissolved in the pump oil may cause changes or corrosion To prevent this the pump must continue to operate with open gas ballast valve and closed intake port until the lubricant is free of condensate We recommend operating the pump in this mode for at least 30 min after completion of the process Note In cyclic process operation the pump should not be switched off during the intervals between the individual working pha
