1. To double check turn the nivelSWISS D back to its original position The measuring value should be identical but with reversed sign Zero point adjustment by reversal measurement on a horizontal surface Battery test Turn the operation modus switch to Bat The battery charge state indicator is divided into 4 bars The nivelSWISS D will automatically turn itself off when the battery is empty Replacing the battery Turn the battery cover anti clockwise and remove it Replace the battery with a common Alkaline battery or accumulator size C 1 5 Volt considering the correct polarity as indicated on the battery cover Put the battery cover back on Seite page 10 Instruction manual nivelSWISS D Connecting to an infrared remote control Zapper Turn the operation modus switch to Bat Point the infrared Zapper at the nivelSWISS D and press the button to send Once the infrared symbol flashes in the top left corner of the display the Zapper is connected to the nivelSWISS D Change the displays colour scheme Turn the operation modus switch to Range II Set the zero point offset to 20 using the zero point adjustment knob Turn the operation modus switch to Range Set the zero point offset to 25 Turn the operation modus switch to Off The nivelSWISS D will now show the colour scheme selection menu The display colour scheme can now be selected using the zero point adjustment2. dell eccentrico La regolazione meccanica dell eccentrico richiede molta precisione ed una solida base d appoggio ATTENZIONE In caso di una regolazione meccanica sbagliata lo strumento nivelSWISS D fuoriuscir completamente dal campo di misura Sar poi necessario effettuare una nuova regolazione dell eccentrico Mettere lo strumento nivelSWISS D su una solida base d appoggio perfettamente in orizzontale per esempio su un piano di riscontro o guida di macchina utensile Posizionare l offset dello zero numeri piccoli in basso nello schermo a zero Accendere l interruttore portandolo sul campo di misura I Mediante una chiave a brugola 2 mm correggere l eccentrico finch il valore mostrato si avvicini il pi possibile allo zero ATTENZIONE il bench minimo movimento dell eccentrico causa grosse modifiche nel valore di misurazione Provvedere alla regolazione dell eccentrico solo attraverso piccoli movimenti controllati Per controllare il grado di regolazione girare lo strumento nivelSWISS D di 180 il campo di misurazione dovrebbe rimanere lo stesso solo con segno opposto Seite page 21 Istruzioni d uso nivelSWISS D p Conservazione e trasporto Per evitare che durante il trasporto si verifichino danni a questo strumento di alta precisione importante attenersi alle seguenti istruzioni di trasporto e spedizione e Lo strumento NON deve essere spedito o tenuto IN POSIZIONE ORIZZONTALE e Utili

6. as a figure Zero point offset Resolution of the display Seite page 9 EI Vai ie Instruction manual nivelSWISS D Measuring Place the nivelSWISS D on the surface to be measured Select the required measuring range read measuring value The symbols on the display indicate the direction of the inclination of the surface being measured Pointer at the right hand side of Pointer at the left hand side of zero zero n to Surface mounting i j to the right the right For measuring the nivelSWISS D must be held vertically otherwise the measuring value can suffer a certain deviation twist error By observing the transversal vial on top of the instrument the vertical position can easily be monitored at any time Zero setting by reversal measurement Place the nivelSWISS D on a clean and dust free surface which is adjusted as horizontally as possible Mark the position where the nivelSWISS D stands on the surface Turn the zero point adjustment knob until the measuring value reaches zero If the range of the zero offset knob is not sufficient the nivelSWISS D might stand on a surface which is too much inclined In very rare cases it might be necessary to mechanically adjust the nivelSWISS D Turn the nivelSWISS D around by 180 and place it exactly on the same spot as before Read the measuring value divide it by 2 and then adjust the measuring value to this calculated value using the zero point adjustment knob
