WARRANTY CARD LIMITED WARRANTY CARTE DE GARANTIE GARANTIE LIMIT E General Imaging Company GIC warrants this Product when purchased directly or from one of GIC s authorized dealers and resellers is warranted against defects in materials or workmanship under normal use for a period of one 1 year from the date of original purchase This limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser is not transferable excludes all accessory parts and is valid only in the original country of purchase In the event that your Product is proven to be defective upon inspection by GIC and provided that the defect occurred under normal and proper use within one 1 year from the date of original purchase GIC will at its sole discretion repair or replace with new or refurbished product or parts any product or parts determined to be defective The exchange product is covered under this warranty for the remainder of the original product s warranty period This limited warranty only covers defects in material or workmanship during ordinary consumer use and does not apply in the following cases la Loss of or damage as a result of wear tear accident misuse abuse negligence sand liquids impact improper storage battery leakage electrical current fluctuations or failure to follow operating maintenance or environmental instructions prescribed in the Product s User Manual b If service or disassembly was performed by persons other tha2. of the possibility of any such damages To receive warranty assistance Technical support for your product can be obtained as follows e Visit the General Imaging website at http www general imaging com service for online technical support e Or call the GIC Customer Care Center at 1 800 730 6597 To expedite service have your product model serial number and date of purchase available prior to contacting GIC A GIC Customer Care representative will attempt to diagnose the nature of the problem If the problem you are experiencing cannot be resolved over the telephone you may be requested to send the Product in for service Once the GIC Customer Care representative has advised you to send in your Product follow the procedures below for mail in service Mail In Service 1 Back up any image software or other data you have stored on the Product and remove any SD memory cards unless otherwise instructed In no event shall GIC be responsible for saving keeping or maintaining any image or data residing on a Product internally or on installed memory card received for service nor shall GIC be responsible for any damage or loss 2 Complete the RMA form provided to you by the GIC Customer Care representative IMPORTANT NOTE You must contact GIC and complete this form prior to returning your Product for service Failure to do so may result in having your Product returned without service 3 Send the Product freight prepaid and insured eit
