HTPS VARIANTS 5 1 In the event of a HTP being modified the draft must be submitted to the FIA before it is issued 5 2 For a given HTP extensions to the form may be issued as Variants if part of the information given in the basic form may change As stated on the variant form page n 1 Variants will be valid for one or several of these categories of events Hill Climb Rally Racing The competitor may use Variants as he wishes provided this is within the right category of events 5 3 The above regulations will be used for the issue of Variants and no additional stickers on the HTP or on the car are necessary if the first page of the HTP remains unchanged However if a new first page of the HTP is required a new bar code sticker will be applied on the car close to the first one and the second bar code sticker will be fixed to the new first page of the HTP 6 TRANSFER OF THE CAR 6 1 If the car is transferred to another country out of an ASN s jurisdiction the new keeper must notify the new ASN which must notify the previous ASN The previous ASN must then send the original HTP and the inspector s report see art 3 1 to the newASN which will provide a new HTP on its form and allocate it a form number belonging to the new ASN The certified copy of the original HTP must be withdrawn from the previous owner by the issuing ASN and the original form cancelled This new HTP must be forwarded notified to the FIA by the n

ISTORIC TECHNICAL PASSPORT HTP 1 GENERAL 1 1 From the introduction of the new HTP template 26 pages HTPs are valid for 10 years 1 2 All HTPs approved prior to 2010 or DB 31336 have become invalid by 31 12 2014 and must be renewed to be accepted at international events from 2015 onwards 1 3 HTPs approved during 2010 are valid until 31 12 2015 those approved during 2011 are valid until 2016 and so on and must be renewed in time to be accepted at international events after their expiry date 1 4 On the new HTP template which is available on the FIA website the year of expiry is already noted at the top of the front page 2 RENEWAL PROCESS 2 1 The renewal process follows the same procedure as for new HTP applications and is laid down in the HTP Regulations for ASNs Item 2 1 2 2 amp 2 3 with the exception that when the former HTP form number allocated by the ASN remains unchanged a new HTP number is not required 2 2 Prior to submitting the HTP for renewal the relevant car must be physically inspected by the ASN according to Item 3 of the HTP Regulations for ASNs 2 3 All HTP renewal applications will be checked by the VCSC using the same procedure as for new applications and will be either accepted together with a new FIA database number or rejected for resubmission after correction 2 4 HTPs with a Variant will be handled the same way and the Variant pages must be submitted together with th
