Please carefully read this manual prior to installation Please also refer to the MAZDA Service Manual with this Manual After the installation has been completed please keep this manual for future reference If the install was done in a shop please make sure to give this manual to the owner Thank you for purchasing a TOMEI product When upgrading your turbo s and camshaft s you will need to also increase the supply of fuel to ensure the correct fuel air mixture ratio is supplied The Tomei high flow pump ensures that the adequate supply of fuel is delivered as needed When upgrading the turbines and cams the ECU will need to be remapped with the right flow injectors to suit the new setup To help with reducing the hassles and dangers of the upgrade we have made an easy bolt on kit to suit your application Sean amp 1 We OS 2 1 A WU REBRO 2 1

7. tank Carefully secure the float in the tank making sure not to damage it Remove the bolt that secures the bracket to the Fuel Pump Disconnect the Blue coupler from the Fuel Pump Harness Pull straight Be sure to pull it out straight because the Fuel Pump is plugged into the pipe Bracket Use the mounting clips to fit the filter that was supplied to the Fuel Pump Then attach the hose Have the Fuel Pump assembled with the washer and insulator that was supplied with the Fuel Pump then test fit it in the correct mouting position Then cut off any excess iron piping that may cause any fitment issues etc After cutting the pipe remove any unwanted burr and smooth the edges then throughly clean the piping Disconnect the stock harness from the Fuel Pump Then cut the end off and connect the coupler included X Please check the polarity Positionin 8 This was the reason why the insulator was supplied with the pump Position it under the pump and adjust with the washer till it fits locks into place Refit the washer to the pump station assembly 10 Bad Make sure that the Insulator is firmly positioned at the bottom of the Fuel Pump Then tighten the Hose Band Reconnect the Fuel Pump harness then it should be ready to install the back into the Fuel Tank After verifying that the Pump is fastened securely into place check the

10. o that fuel vapors does not fill the work area WE Do not use anything that can cause sparks on the job About electrical machinery and equipement As a general rule do not use for this type of job or similar Do not test the pump and or fuel in a plastic tank Do not use a drill grinder and or welder 2 Preventing sparks during the job Keep your work place spark free ie Do not use a hammer E Preventing static electricity safe practices Have a fire extinguisher prepared 2 Prevent static electricity Keep the floor slip free and free from water Keep the vehicles properly earthed when changing the fuel duct and components Keep the fuel separated when possible during the proceedure W Have the fuel tank emptied before commencing work WE Take care not to spill the fuel that is left in the piping when removing the fuel lines Mi Remove any unwanted foreign objects from the fuel tank when possible Removing the gasoline whilst arranging the fuel piping 1 Remove the fuel pumps coupler 2 Remove the fuel filler cap to release the internal pressure from the tank When the engine dies crank the engine 3 4 times to get the fuel back into the system Turn the ignition switch OFF remove the negative terminal of the battery INSTALLATION A Prior to beginning the installation process please remove all fuel from the fuel tank Making sure it is not exposed to the open air Remove the fuel pump from the fuel
