28. ces to death through watching the digital picture card show on the theme of death The contents of the students the free description after watching a digital picture card show were analyzed And the concern about death education of the students who contribute to the early childhood education field in the future was also examined As a result the students majoring in early child care and education are interested in teaching death In addition these students who described the necessity of death education on their free description had a tendency using the words about the necessity for the experience of death and life for early childhood education Furthermore the students who showed sympathy to a child had a tendency using sympathy words which accept a child s feeling Thus this study shows the possibility that confronting death in childcare situation makes the students give the motivation to teaching death to the children Keywords teaching death digital picture card show free description quantitative text analysis Annual Report 2015 21
