1. 1 1 Automatic winding mechanism This is an automatic winding mechanical watch The mainspring is wound by your natural arm movements while wearing the watch on your wrist If your watch stops swing the watch to and from ten times or more to start the second hand moving After it starts moving adjust the date the time or the world time This watch will run approximately 40 hours after it is fully wound If it is not wound enough the watch may lose time In order to maintain the watch s accuracy we recommend wearing the watch at least 8 hours a day Screw lock type crown model Depending on the model you may not be able to pull the crown out without unscrewing it screw lock type crown model Operate this type of watch as described below Before adjusting the date time or world time first turn the crown to the left to loosen the screw lock After adjusting the date time or world time turn the crown to the right while pressing in until it stops turni

23. ition 40H The amount the watch is wound will change with the frequency of your arm movements and the amount of time you wear the watch so the hand will not always point to the fully wound position If you remove the watch from your arm and do not wind manually the power reserve hand will move toward zero as time passes Rotating bezel The figure above shows that 20 minutes have passed since you started timing at 10 minutes after 10 o clock How to use the rotating bezel Some modets have a rotating bezel Check the watch you purchased to see if it has a rotating bezel Turn the rotating bezel and point the triangle mark at the minute hand After some time has elapsed you can read the amount of elapsed time by looking at the point on the rotating bezel where the minute hand is currently pointing By pointing the triangle mark at a target time in the future you can read the remaining time to go The rotating bezel clicks at one minute intervals and is designed not to turn backwards counter clockwise to avoid accidentally changing the bezel setting Handling precaution 1 Water proof performance NWARNING A water proof watch for every day use 3 atm is available for face washing etc but avoid putting it in the water A reinforced water proof watch for every day use 5 atm is available for swimming etc but do not put it on when you go under water such as skin diving
