6. rungen hervorrufen MASSEVERBINDUNG Die Masseverbindung ist einer der wichtigsten und leistungsbestimmenden Faktoren f r die Funktion des Verst rkers Benutzen Sie ein Kabel des gleichen Querschnitts wie der des Pluskabels und ziehen es vom GND Masse Anschluss des Verst rkers zu einem geeig neten Karroseriepunkt in der N he Dieses Kabel sollte so kurz wie m glich sein und an einem blanken gereinigten Massepunkt angeschlossen werden AMP REMOTE Der Verst rker wird ber ein 12 V Signal auf dem REM Eingang eingeschaltet Holen Sie dieses Signal vom Amp remote Ausgang Ihres Steuerger tes um sicherzustellen da die 12 V nur anliegen wenn das Steuerger t eingeschaltet ist EING NGE Dieser Verst rker kann sowohl ber ein Cinchsignal als auch ber einen Lautsprecher Abgriff High Level Input angesteuert werden Benutzen Sie ausschlie lich eine der An schlussarten nicht beide zusammen Schliessen Sie den Verst rker lediglich an die Laut sprecherausg nge an wenn Ihr Steuerger t keinen Cinchausgang z B Line Out besitzt F r die High Level Ansteuerung ben tigen Sie kein abgeschirmtes Kabel Schliessen Sie die Ausg nge an die 4 Dr hte des beiliegenden Steckers nach untenstehendem Schema an und stecken ihn in die entsprechende Buchse am Aktivsubwoofer Amp Panel J p Verbinden Sie die Kabel vom Adapter wie am Amp Panel angegeben mit den Lautsprechern im Fahrzeug BITTE BEACHTEN Wenn der High Level A
7. sind davon betroffen Als St rungsursachen treten oft die Lichtmaschine Pfeifen und die Z ndung Knistern in Erscheinung Die meisten dieser Probleme bekommt man mit einer korrekten Verkabelung in den Griff Wir m chten Sie mit den folgenden Hin weisen dazu in die Lage versetzen m Benutzen Sie ausschlie lich doppelt oder dreifach abgeschirmte Cinch Kabel um die Ausg nge Ihres Steuerger tes i e Autoradio CD DVD Player etc mit den Verst rke reing ngen zu verbinden m Verlegen Sie die Signal und die Stromversorgungskabel m glichst weit voneinander und achten Sie dabei auch auf ausreichenden Abstand von der ab Werk vorhandenen Verka belung des Fahrzeuges Das Remotekabel kann dagegen ohne St rungen zu verursa chen entlang der Signalkabel verlegt werden Vermeiden Sie Masseschleifen indem Sie die Masse an einem zentralen Punkt also sternf rmig zu den Verbrauchern abgreifen m Um den besten Massepunkt zu finden empfehlen wir folgende Vorgehensweise e Messen Sie zuerst die Versorgungsspannung direkt an den Batteriepolen e Nun vergleichen Sie diese Spannung mit jener eines potentiellen Massepunktes gegen den Pluspol des Amp Moduls e Bei einer Spannungsdifferenz von weniger als 0 1 V haben Sie einen geeigneten Massepunkt gefunden Der Massepunkt sollte sauber und rostfrei sein e Nehmen Sie die Messungen bei eingeschalteter Z ndung und einigen aktiven Verbrauchern vor z B Beleuchtung Heckscheibenheizung etc

Dies kann zu einer Besch digung des Ger tes f hren und Ihr Garantieanspruch erlischt dadurch Benutzen Sie nur das Originalzubeh r um das Ger t zu installieren und zu betreiben da ansonsten eine Besch digung des Ger tes riskiert wird Die bei Unf llen auftretenden Beschleunigungskr fte sind teilweise enorm Unsachgem montierte Ger te stellen bei Unf llen ein gro es Risiko f r die Insassen des Fahrzeuges dar Sch tzen Sie das Ger t vor Wasser oder anderen Fl ssigkeiten die ins Innere des Ger tes eindringen k nnen Ein Kurzschluss mit Brandfolge k nnte daraus resultieren Bevor Sie eine defekte Sicherung austauschen sollten Sie erst einmal berpr fen was der Grund f r den Kurzschluss war Achten Sie dabei besonders auf die Kabel der Stromversorgung Wenn der Kurzschluss nicht durch einen Fehler in der Spannungsversorgung resultiert m ssen Sie die defekte Sicherung gegen ein neues Exemplar mit identischen Werten austauschen Sollte der Kurzschluss immer noch auftreten wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren AXTON Fachh ndler Achten Sie darauf dass bei ausgeschaltetem Motor die Batterie des Fahrzeuges nicht entladen wird Da es sich bei dem Ger t um einen Verbraucher handelt und die Batterie nur bei laufendem Motor aufgeladen wird kann es passieren dass die Batterie entladen wird und das Fahrzeug sich nicht mehr starten l sst Achten Sie bei der Installation des Ger tes darauf dass es nicht dem direkt

GAIN CONTROL Input level gain control potentiometer allowing to match the output voltage of the head uni s RCA line outs or the high level signal to the amp input of the active sub POWER LED Green LED signalling correct operation of the amp module A NOTE Both RCA inputs must receive input signal from the head unit Use a Y adapter if your head unit only features a mono subwoofer lead A DANGER Use the specified 20A ATC fuse for replacement only Higher ampera ge may cause serious damage or even a fire ADJUSTMENTS Turn on your head unit keeping your volume in a low setting The green status LED on the front of the AXB20A amp module should light up now If not turn off your head unit and re check all wiring to and from the amplifier for missing or faulty connections PROTECTION INDICATOR This active subwoofer is equipped with an overload protection In case of internal short circuit or increased temperature the overload protection is activated and the red LED indicator comes on LOWPASS CROSSOVER FREQUENCY The lowpass cut off frequency setting marked as Crossover on the active subwoofer depends on the dimension of the vehicle and the mounting location As a rule of thumb settings in a range between 80 to 100 Hz will render best sonic results For an intermediate lowpass crossover setting to attempt input gain and phase shift control adjustments go for a VR pot set to approx 80 Hz and after input gain has been a
