10. and 5 for connecting the aileron servos Join the wing panels using the aluminium tube Connect the aileron servo leads to the extension leads already plugged into the receiver Fit the wing root lugs into the notch in the fuselage former then secure the wing on the fuselage using the plastic retaining screws provided Fit the flight battery through the opening in the underside of the fuselage and connect it to the speed controller Pack foam round the flight pack before fitting the battery compartment cover to secure it Balancing the BELLANCA The completely equipped model with the flight battery installed should balance level at a point about 65 mm aft of the wing root leading edge ideally with the nose inclined slightly down If necessary adjust the position of the flight battery or fit nose or tail ballast until the model balances at the stated point Before flying the aircraft set the transmitter trims to centre and ensure that all the control surfaces are exactly at centre neutral Control surface travels for normal flying Ailerons 8 mm up and down Elevators 16 mm up and down Rudder 20 mm right and left We recommend that you set 50 Exponential on all channels at the transmitter Important When fitting and adjusting the various linkages you should ensure that they move freely without binding are able to move to their full extent including trim travel and are not obstructed mechanically at any point When you move
