4. BoSS can save the database in MS Excel or MS Access format These functions are all discussed in greater detail in the next section Accessing the Measurement Records Once a person has been measured their data continues to reside on the BoSS 21 system and it can be retrieve at a later date by authorised personnel There are two methods for doing this each designed for different purposes The first method Open Measurement Record is intended for use in a garment sizing environment where protecting the privacy of the clients who were measured is very important This method allows the user to retrieve only the garment size information and records can only be found for a specified Service Number None of the body measurement data is included This function is useful for clothing stores who can look up client sizing records without needing to measure the client again The second method Open Records is intended for use in a secure environment where only authorised personnel will use the data This function requires the Administrator password It allows 23 BOSS 21 SOFTWARE USER GUIDE the user to view all or a subset of the records and to quickly step through all the records It retrieves the body shape outlines the body measurements and the garment sizes Retrieving a Record Garment Sizes Only Once a person has been measured their data continues to reside on the BoSS 21 system and it can be retrieve at a later date by authorised
