1. HOW TO USE YOUR COX WRENCH    FOR CARBURETOR FITS CYLINDER EXHAUST  SCREWDRIVER HOUSING NUT ON OPENINGS  WHEN PISTON  BLADE TEE DEE  amp  MEDALLION IS AT BOTTOM DEAD         j   ENGINES CENTER   Engine S    Troubleshooting    FITS GLOW HEAD  SLOTS FOR REMOVAL FOR FLYWHEEL FITS FLATS ON TOP    Chart OR TIGHTENING NUT ON CAR TOP CYLINDER FIN  INSTALLATIONS    Connect Cox glow head clip wires to a 12 volt  battery or Cox battery box  A   Attach glow head  clip to glow head  B    SMALL FORK  TOP VIEW   SLIDES IN HERE    LARGE FORK LIES  ON TOP FIN OF  L i l H    TROUBLE PROBABLE CAUSE REMEDY  C O    Check connections of wires to battery  and check to be sure clip is firmly and  correctly attached to glow head    see glow head clip info above        Poor battery connection    A good battery should test 11   2 volts or  connect battery to a glow head that is  known to be good  If filament does not    WILL NOT START glow bright orange     replace battery   ACTS LIKE BATTERY WASN T    ATTACHED TO GLOW HEAD    Weak or dead battery    Remove glow head  Attach glow head  to a good 11   2 volt battery  If filament  does not glow bright orange      replace head     Burned out glow head    Squirt a few drops of fuel through    Engine wasn   t primed exhaust port and into side of piston  then continue starting procedure     Loose propeller screw Tighten propeller screw     WILL NOT START      c T Carefully remove reed retainer and  ENNE POPS AND OREN SS Dirt under reed then remove reed  Was
