37. neumatic Fill Switch is available For more information see Pneumatic Fill Switch on page 14 Accuracy BinBoss and the Feed Level Sensor have been designed to measure the feed level within two percent of the full bin amount For example if you have a 12 ton feed bin 24 000 pounds the Feed Level Sensor should be able to measure the amount of feed in the bin within 480 pounds 02 X 24 000 480 Let s take the above example one step further If you had an actual daily feed usage of 3 000 pounds BinBoss should report the usage for that day as an amount in the range of 2 520 to 3 480 pounds These are standard commercial tolerances for process control devices The specific gravity of the feed also affects the accuracy of the Feed Level Sensor The specific gravity of the feed can change from one feed type to another and from one batch to another The way to correct this is using the Feed Delivery Reconciler The Feed Delivery Reconciler corrects differences between the amount of feed measured and the amount of feed delivered The difference between the measured amount and the delivered amount feed ticket creates a correction factor BinBoss uses this correction when it calculates feed usage and daily usage 2014 04 15 13 Chapter 1 Introducing BinBoss Also if your feed delivery system does not allow the bin lid to be tilted and an external fill detection switch is not an option you will need to manually enter all feed deliverie
