5. cted Clone Dock Function To successfully use the clone function the capacity of target hard drive must be larger or equal to the source drive Please note the source data can not be cloned to a drive with smaller capacity Hardware Clone Mode With this function users can enjoy the one button clone from source HDD to target HDD without connecting to computer Important Note 1 Before doing hardware clone please disconnect the USB or eSATA cable that is between the dock and the computer If the mentioned cables are connected during cloning process they may cause corruption of the hard drives 2 Please make sure you put the correct drive into correct drive bay before cloning if not the data will be damaged due to misuse 3 The capacity of target disk should be put in the Target bay must be equal or larger in capacity than the source disk Please follow below steps to enable the hardware clone 1 Install 2 hard drives into the dock Make sure the drives are properly installed to source bay and target bay 2 Connect the AC adapter and click the power key to start up the device 3 Press the CLONE key twice within 5 seconds to start the hard drive duplication The LED indicator will show up 4 status by different color as below Blue color blinks 25 copied Yellow color blinks 50 copied Green color blinks 75 copied Red color blinks 100 copied 4 f you fail to click the copy button twice within 5 seco
6. nds you must start the process again 5 Once the cloning process has reached 100 all color LEDs will not flash anymore but show static light which indicates the cloning task is finished 6 Before removing the hard drive from the cloning dock we strongly recommend that the dock is powered off and the power supply is removed from the dock Software Clone Mode This is PC Based software you need to connect the clone dock to your computer through USB the clone software must co work with your computer for proper and efficient data clone Please note the software clone supports USB connection only you can t use it under eSATA connection You will also need to install the Clone Software to your computer first Please follow below steps to enable the software clone 1 Download the Clone Software from the website at http www welland com tw html support ap ME 602 Clone rar 2 Execute the file and install it in your system It supports installation on Win XP VISTA 7 only For 64 bit system only Vista or 7 is supported 3 Every installation of clone software needs the official PRODUCT KEY You can find valid number at the under side of the clone dock or in the user manual 4 The sticker of the PRODUCT KEY is the proof of license of genuine FNet certificate Without the PRODUCT KEY you can t use the clone software Each PRODUCT KEY is the one and only no recompense if losing it 5 The clone software supports PC to E
