EFPVT 240 Voltage Sensor Installation Manual 1 WARNINGS Ecofront EFPVT 240 voltage transformer is a Type Z device The external flexible cable or cord of this transformer cannot be replaced if the cord is damaged the transformer shall be scrapped The EFPVT 240 Voltage Sensor connects to 100V 120V and 240V AC circuits Installation should be undertaken by a competent electrical trades person Do not use or store the device in locations that may experience adverse conditions such as high humidity condensation excessive temperature fluctuations or exposure to the elements wind sun or rain Do not subject the product to impact shock or excessive vibration When disposing of this product be careful to observe local waste disposal regulations 2 APPLICATION The Ecofront EFPVT 240 Voltage Sensor is a potential transformer and provides a linear output voltage proportional to the input voltage The EFPVT 240 is optimally designed to interface with the Ecofront range of energy monitoring data loggers however can be interfaced with any device capable of reading low voltage signals This document outlines how the transformer should be installed when used with an Ecofront or similar energy Input monitor SS 3 DESCRIPTION a lt 52 07 D 2000mm Output 1000mm The EFPVT 240 transformer is enclosed in a black ABS plastic case The primary side blue and brown cables connect to
