10. status 18 TROUBLESHOOTING Please check for causes of problems in accordance with the following chart befor contacting any maintenance personnel Symptom The player does not play There is no sound There is no picture What to check If disc is loaded in If disc is loaded upside down If disc is dirty or warped If the player s region code is the same as the region code of the DVD disc f water condensation has occurred If it occurs take the disc out and leave the player on for a few hours until it backs to normal If the system connection is correct If the power of the speakers is turned on Make sure the input for the TV and stereo system are correct If the sound setup of the DVD disc is correct If disc is dirty or warped If the TV is turned on and is in correct video mode If the system connection is correct Poor AV performance If disc is dirty warped or damaged If this is the case press the A B button to cancel If the disc is dirty or damaged If this is the case clean the disc or skip the section Cannot continue to played and play a section repeatedly If there are obstructions between the remote control and the player If the remote control is pointing at the player If batteries are inserted or the polarity is correct If batteries are weak The remote control does not work

15. ction Set Audio Subtitle Disc Menu language These are the initial settings by your preference If a setting is supported by disc content it will work Otherwise the disc default value works Parental Control The control level is for parents to determine violence and erotica content levels for children A disc content level which is higher than the setting level cannot be played Under condition of Password Mode being set as OFF you can set the Parental level There are 7levels for selection After finished setting please back to the Password Mode and set this item to be ON Set Password Mode To set the password function to be ON or OFF Set as OFF you can enter into the parental control Set Passwrod Use aor Vv direction button to select password on the preference setup page then press gt or PLAY button to confirm Use aor V direction button to select Password and then you can change the password The initial factory password is 136900 You can change the password following the steps below 1 Enter the old six digitlal password in the old password field 2 Enter a new six digital password The cursor will move tothe Old Password Confirmed password field New Password 3 Enter the new password again for confirmation Confirm PWD 4 Press the PLAY button to confirm it and exit the password Ok change submenu Set Default If you choose Reset the system will back to the default
