10.   be  cleaned on a regular basis to maintain its maximum accuracy    In very slimy environments the built in water or air jet function may be used  with advantage    Clean the transmitter for example once a month to begin with  until an optimal  cleaning interval can be determined        Cleaning the sensor  1  Remove the Oxix   sensor from the liquid     2  Clean the sensor with a soft  moist cloth and clean water  A mild detergent  or dishwashing liquid may be used     Warning  The accuracy will deteriorate  or be completely ruined  at the worst  if the measuring optic element is scratched by  for example the use of a steel brush during cleaning     3  Dry the sensor with a soft cloth     4  Immerse the Oxix   sensor into the liquid to be measured and leave it for at  least 15 minutes to stabilize the reading     5  The cleaning intervals may need to be shortened or extended  all depend   ing on the usage  the liquid composition and the location     Cleaning the converter display    When seen necessary the Oxix  converter display may be cleaned with a soft   moist cloth     Functional Tests   The Oxix  transmitter calibration can  if wanted  be checked from the serv   ice menu option  Sensor calibration   This option is read only  In the unlikely  event that the unit fall out of calibration  an MJK serviceperson must be called  to fix or re calibrate the transmitter     Service Contract    A service contract maintains the equipment reliability and accuracy  Get in  contact
