TEXET Laminator User Guide Fold out exit supports On off v switch Ready neon Pouch entry LM 270 A4 Personal Laminator www texet com LM 270 A4 Home Laminator Thank you for choosing a Texet laminator We aim to supply quality machines that create excellent results Before operating the laminator please read and keep the user instructions for reference When using electrical appliances basic precautions should always be followed to reduce risk of injury or electric shock including the following Always unplug the appliance when not in use Extreme caution to be used when operating the appliance near children or incalids The laminator will become very hot in use and care should be taken when handling the machine 4 Protect against the risk of electrical hazards Do not immerse the power cord plug or appliance in water or other liquids Do not use the appliance near water Do not insert any metal objects or other foreign objects such as jewellery hair fingers or clothing into the appliance Remove paper clips and staples before laminating 8 Do not operate the appliance with a damaged plug or power cord or after the appliance has malfunctioned or become damdged in some manner The plug and power cord is the disconnect device 10 The appliance should be installed near the outlet socket and the socket should be easily accessible 11 Only laminate pqper or board

Do not laminate unusual objects 12 Do not use aerosol dusters or cleaners 13 Do not spray anything into or lubricate the appliance 1 Operate he machine on a flat and stable surface 2 Ensure there is enough clear space at the rear of the machine for the lamination to exit the machine 3 The LM 270 operates with laminating pouches 100 2 50 micron 160 2 80 micron thick Credit Card to A4 sizes Operating the hot laminator The LM 270 is operaed by an on off rocker switch located at the front of the appliance There are 2 positions ON 1 OFF 0 1 Plug the machine into a suitable power supply outlet 2 Open the two exit supports at the rear of the machine They are hinged as part of the machine bod Machine body WN ao on N wo q Visit www texet com for details on other texet products LM270 2 3 Selecting ON 1 will start the heating process The ON OFF switch will light up red The machine will start to heat up After 3 4minutes the green READY light will iiluminale when the machine has reached the correct opering temperature The machine is ready to laminate 4 Prepare the laminating pouch for inserting into the machine Load the paper centrally into the pouch alongside the pre sealed edge Do not use pouches thicker than 160mcn 2 80mcn per side 5 When the machine has reached oprating temperature You may insert the pouch sealed edge first squarely into the machine until it engages with the rollers Nerver
3. insert a pouch open edge first into the machine 6 The pouch will move through the machine and exit at the rear 7 During the process the READY light may go out as heat is absorbed by the laminating pouch This is normal Please wait until the READY light is green again before inserting the next pouch 8 Turn the laminator OFF 0 after use 9 Remove the plug from the power supply IMPORTANT Do not touch the top of the machine during use The top of the machine gets very hot during use And takes approx 3 4hours to cool down after use Do not place items ontop of the machine at any time Laminating capacity The LM 270 is a personal laminator designed for hot lamination only and low volume use Do not use the machine with pouches greater than160 microns in thickness How to load a laminating pouch The laminating pouch is sealed along one side Open the pouch and place the paper to be laminated centrally inside the pouch as close the sealed edge as possible Ensure there is an equal border all round the paper eg A4 paper should have 3mm border The sealed edge not the oper adges is placed into the entry slot to start the lamination process In case of ajam In the untikely event that the machine becomes blocked switch off the machine and return to a qualified service engineer Do not open the machine Warranty amp service Never service the product yourself The appliance is guaranteed for 12 months form date of purchase Subject to
