CSAHX een INTELLIGENT RAPID CHARGER Copyright Entel UK 2009 v03 09 Thank you for purchasing the CSAHX rapid charger This product should reach you in perfect condition Should you notice any defects or experience any problems with this product please contact the dealer from whom you purchased it immediately FEATURES The CSAHX charger provides rapid recharging of Lithium lon battery packs for the Entel HX400 series transceivers Free range power supply facilitates both 100v and 240v AC outlets The HX400 series battery pack can be charged in the front slot of the dual slot CSAHX charger while still attached to your HX400 transceiver or alternatively on its own in the rear slot Two battery packs may be inserted into the front and rear slots simultaneously but the battery pack in the rear slot will only begin charging once the battery pack in the front slot has completed its charge cycle The time required to charge a fully discharged battery pack is 2 hours 30mins When rapid charge is complete the CSAHX automatically switches to standby This charger has been designed to sit ona desktop OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Plug the AC power cord of the charger into a wall outlet Switch the transceiver off Insert the battery pack into the CSAHX either with or without the transceiver attached The LED illuminates red to indicate that charging has commenced 4 A discharged battery pack will take approx2. imately 2 hours 30mins to fully charge When charge is complete the LED will illuminate green NOTE If the LED on your CSAHX flashes red this indicates that there is a fault with the battery pack Please consult your dealer SPECIFICATION Mains connection EE version 3 pin UK ED version 2 pin European Input voltage 100 240V AC 500mA Ouput voltage 8 4V DC 800mA Charge time 2 hours 30mins Dimensions 61 H mm x 100 W mm x 147 D mm Weight 369g Community Design Registration Pending U S Design Patent Pending Unregistered Design Right Entel UK 2008 All Rights Reserved Copyright Entel UK Ltd London PRECAUTIONS The CSAHX is designed exclusively for use with battery packs related to the Entel HX series Do not use it to charge any other types of battery pack Do not use the CSAHX as a power supply The CSAHX is designed for use with an AC power supply voltage between 100v and 240v Do not connect it to a power source outside this range Never charge the transceiver whilst it is switched on Unplug the CSAHX when it is not in use Do not dismantle the CSAHX Never insert any metal or any other conductive objects into the charger Do not touch the charger s terminals Never short the charge contacts with metal or any other conductive object The CSAHX should be placed in a well ventilated dry area l In the event that your CSAHX gets wet do not a switch on Consult your dealer immediately
