3. e Do not open the equipment and do not modify the equipment e Do not connect this equipment to a dimmer pack e Do not switch the equipment on and off in short intervals as this will reduce the system s life e Only use the equipment indoors e Do not expose to flammable sources liquids or gases e Always disconnect the power from the mains when equipment is not in use or before cleaning Only handle the power cable by the plug Never pull out the plug by pulling the power cable e Make sure that the available voltage is between 220v 240v e Make sure that the power cable is never crimped or damaged Check the equipment and the power cable periodically e lf the equipment is dropped or damaged disconnect the mains power supply immediately Have a qualified engineer inspect the equipment before operating again e If the equipment has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation e g after transportation do not switch it on immediately The arising condensation might damage the equipment Leave the equipment switched off until it has reached room temperature e If your product fails to function correctly discontinue use immediately Pack the unit securely preferably in the original packing material and return it to your Prolight dealer for service e Only use fuses of same type and rating e Repairs servicing and power connection must only be carried out by a qualified technician THIS UNIT CONTAINS NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS

5. erate in Stand alone Master Slave Sound activated and via DMX 512 control Eco LED 56 Cans Programmes Programme Selection Static Colour Mode Press the mode button and use the up and down buttons to select one of the 7 desired colours E 1 Red 2 Green 3 Blue 4 Yellow 5 Cyan 6 Purple 7 White 6 MODE UP Down 3 MODE UP Down 3 Colour Changing Mode Press the mode button to select the Colour Change programme The unit will then run in Colour change mode Press the up and down buttons to select the colour change speed from 0 99 Colour Fading Mode Press the mode button to select Fade mode The unit will then run in colour fade mode Press the up and down buttons to select the fade speed from 0 99 MODE UP Down Auto Running Mode Press the mode button to select Auto mode The unit will then run automatically through all of the built in programmes The run speed can be pre set via the speed of the colour change and colour fade modes e MODE UP Down Sound Active Mode Press the mode button to select sound mode The unit will then run via the sound Press the up and down buttons to adjust the sound sensitivity levels MODE UP Down Master Slave Mode H Link the units together and press the mode button of the slave units to SLA mode The slave units will follow in sequence with the master unit MODE UP Down Eco LED 56 Cans CONTROL OPTIONS DMX Control Mode T
6. fixtures and controllers A DMX controller sends DMX data instructions form the controller to the fixture DMX data is sent as serial data that travels from fixture to fixture via the DATA IN and DATA OUT XLR terminals located on all DMX fixtures most controllers only have a data out terminal DMX Linking e DMX is a language allowing all makes and models of different manufactures to be linked together and operate from a single controller as long as all fixtures and the controller are DMX compliant To ensure proper DMX data transmission when using several DMX fixtures try to use the shortest cable path possible The order in which fixtures are connected in a DMX line does not influence the DMX addressing For example a fixture assigned to a DMX address of 1 may be placed anywhere in a DMX line at the beginning at the end or anywhere in the middle When a fixture is assigned a DMX address of 1 the DMX controller knows to send DATA assigned to address 1 to that unit no matter where it is located in the DMX chain DATA Cable DMX cable requirements for DMX operation e The Eco LED 56 Can can be controlled via DMX 512 protocol The DMX address is set on the back of the unit Your unit and your DMX controller require a standard 3 pin XLR connector for data input output figure 1 Figure 1 Further DMX cables can be purchased from all good sound and lighting suppliers or Prolight dealers Please quote CABL10 2M
7. he Eco LED 56 can has two DMX modes to choose from 3 channel or 6 Channel To access the 3 Channel mode press the mode button to show a red dot illuminated under the first digit of the DMX address a Red Dot The unit is now ready for use in 3 channel mode 3CH DMX Mode MODE UP Down 000 255 BLUE 0 100 To access the 6 Channel mode press the mode button to show NO red dot under the first digit of the DMX address The unit is now ready for use in 6 channel mode 6CH DMX Mode MODE UP Down CH4 0 7 No function 8 255 Colour macro mixing CH5 0 16 No function 17 255 Strobe Speed Adjust Sound Sensitivity Adjust 0 31 No function 32 95 Colour mixing 96 159 RGB colour change 160 233 7 colour change 244 255 Sound activation To change from 3 channel to 6 channel mode press ONLY the mode button repeatedly until you return to the DMX control mode Daisy Chain Connection 1 Connect the male 3 pin connector side of the DMX cable to the output female 3 pin connector of the first fixture 2 Connect the end of the cable coming from the first fixture which will have a female 3 pin connector to the input connector of the next fixture consisting of a male 3 pin connector Proceed to connect from the output as stated above to the input of the following fixture and so on Eco LED 56 Cans DMX SET UP DMX 512 e DMX Digital Multiplex is a universal protocol used as a form of communication between intelligent
