10. de and function d ES Sensor location Buzzer alarm systems Front View Battery compartment Battery compartment Belt clip KC cover screw Charging contacts Rear Side View 4 GammaRAE IIR General Information The GammaRAE II R is a rapid y ray gamma source detector and dosimeter in a single unit Because of its high sensitiv ity at low radiation levels it can alert first responders to the presence of a radiation threat well before they might be exposed to health threatening levels Its high range and dosimeter functionality also allow first responders to accurately track their dose at higher levels of radiation In addition its Stay Time feature automatically calculates dosage vs time to inform you of potentially hazardous cumulative doses of radia tion over long periods of time It is the only intrinsically safe personal radiation monitor with a loud audible alarm big bright flashing LEDs and a vibration alarm For stealth operations law enforcement personnel can disable each alarm separately GammaRAE II R s water resistant design makes for reliable operation in wet environments Its sensitive Cesium Iodide CsI scintillator and energy compensated PIN diode provide fast less than 2 seconds response to radiological threats The GammaRAE II R accumulates accurate energy compen sated dosage Stored dosage data can be cumulative or cleared and reset for each use period www raesystems c
