Flash Lamps With Lock Key Fob Programmable Features e The following features may also be programmed by using the Key Fob transmitter or the ignition switch and driver s door lock switch NOTE Pressing the LOCK button while you are inside the vehicle will activate the Vehicle Security Alarm Opening a door with the Vehicle Security Alarm activated will cause the alarm to sound Press the UNLOCK button to deactivate the Vehicle Security Alarm Unlock On First Press e To unlock either the driver s side or all doors on the first press of the UNLOCK button e Press and hold the LOCK button for at least 4 seconds but no longer than 10 seconds Then press and hold the UNLOCK button while still holding the LOCK button e Release both buttons at the same time Auto Unlock Doors On Exit To have all of the vehicle doors unlock when any door is opened e Enter your vehicle close all the doors and fasten your seat belt e Within 15 seconds cycle the ignition switch from the OFF position to the ON position a minimum of four times ending in the OFF position do not start the engine e Within 30 seconds press the driver s door lock switch in the UNLOCK direction A single chime will indicate that programming is complete 49 ELECTRONICS Auto Door Lock e To have the doors lock automatically when the vehicle s speed exceeds 15 mph 24 km h e Enter your vehicle close all the doors and fasten your seat belt e Within

RAMBOX Bed Rail Tie Down Bed Extender System Adjustable Cleats e The RamBox system is an integrated pickup box storage and cargo management system consisting of three features e Integrated box side storage bins e Cargo extender divider e Bed rail tie down system RamBox Integrated Box Side Storage Bins e The cargo storage bins provide watertight lockable illuminated storage for up to 150 Ibs 68 kg of evenly distributed cargo e To open a storage bin press and release the pushbutton located on the lid UTILITY Press the Storage Bin Button to Open The interior of the RamBox will automatically illuminate when the lid is opened Pushing the switch once will turn off the bin lights pushing the switch again will turn the lights back on Storage bins feature two removable drain plugs to allow water to drain from bins To remove plug pull up on the edge To install push plug downward into drain hole The RamBox storage bins can be locked using the vehicle key UTILITY NOTE Provisions are provided in the bins for cargo dividers and shelf supports These accessories in addition to other RamBox accessories are available from MOPARS RamBox Storage Bin Cover Emergency Release Lever e As a security measure a Storage Bin Cover Emergency Release is built into the storage bin cover latching mechanism NOTE In the event of an individual being locked inside the storage

Pinch Protection Feature e This feature will detect an obstruction in the opening of the sunroof during Express Close operation If an obstruction in the path of the sunroof is detected the sunroof will automatically return to the open position 28 OPERATING YOUR VEHICLE NOTE Pinch protection is disabled while the switch is pressed and held during manual opening and closing of the sunroof e Never leave children in a vehicle with the key in the ignition switch Occupants particularly unattended children can become entrapped by the power sunroof while operating the power sunroof switch Such entrapment may result in serious injury or death In a collision there is a greater risk of being thrown from a vehicle with an open sunroof You could also be severely injured or killed Always fasten your seat belt properly and make sure all passengers are properly secured Do not allow small children to operate the sunroof Never allow your fingers other body parts or any object to project through the sunroof opening Injury may result WIND BUFFETING e Wind buffeting can be described as a helicopter type percussion sound If buffeting occurs with the rear windows open adjust the front and rear windows together e f buffeting occurs with the sunroof open adjust the sunroof opening or adjust any window This will minimize buffeting 29 ELECTRONICS YOUR VEHICLE S SOUND SYSTEM Steering Wheel Audio Controls

13. jumper cable from the positive post of the booster battery Disconnect the positive end of the jumper cable from the positive post of the discharged vehicle If frequent jump starting is required to start your vehicle you should have the battery and charging system inspected at your authorized dealer CAUTION Do not use a portable battery booster pack or any other booster source with a system voltage greater than 12 Volts or damage to the battery starter motor alternator or electrical system may occur Failure to follow these procedures could result in damage to the charging system of the booster vehicle or the discharged vehicle Accessories that can be plugged into the vehicle power outlets draw power from the vehicle s battery even when not in use i e cellular phones etc Eventually if plugged in long enough the vehicle s battery will discharge sufficiently to degrade battery life and or prevent the engine from starting When temperatures are below the freezing point electrolyte in a discharged battery may freeze Do not attempt jump starting because the battery could rupture or explode and cause personal injury Battery temperature must be brought above the freezing point before attempting a jump start Take care to avoid the radiator cooling fan whenever the hood is raised It can start anytime the ignition switch is on You can be injured by moving fan blades Continued WHAT TO DO IN EMERGENCIES

15. then touch the DONE soft key to start the copy process Copy Pictures To The Hard Drive Insert either a CD or a USB device containing your pictures in JPEG format into the USB port on the radio face Touch the MY FILES soft key then go to the MANAGE MY FILES screen Touch the MY PICTURES soft key to get an overview of the currently stored images Touch one of the ADD PICTURES soft keys then select the type of media inserted Use the PAGE soft keys to page through a list of pictures and press the picture you would like to import Confirm your selection by touching the YES soft key The imported picture is now available in the MANAGE MY PICTURES screen In order to display the imported picture in the radio screen touch the desired picture soft key Select this picture by pressing the PICTURE VIEW soft key A check mark indicates the currently used picture Cleaning Your Touch Screen Radio Do not spray any liquid or caustic chemicals directly on the screen Use a clean and dry micro fiber lens cleaning cloth in order to clean the touch screen If necessary use a lint free cloth dampened with a cleaning solution such as isopropyl alcohol or an isopropyl alcohol and water solution ratio of 50 50 Be sure to follow the solvent manufacturer s precautions and directions USB Port The USB Port on the radio allows you to copy songs from a connected USB drive or supported media device onto your Media Center hard drive You can also
16. under the axle between the spring and the shock absorber with the drive tubes extending to the rear 12 WHAT TO DO IN EMERGENCIES e Turn the jack screw clockwise to firmly engage the jack saddle with the lift area e Raise the vehicle by turning the jack screw clockwise Raise the vehicle only until the tire just clears the surface and enough clearance is obtained to install the spare tire e Remove the lug nuts and wheel e Position the spare wheel tire on the vehicle and install the lug nuts with the cone shaped end toward the wheel Lightly tighten the lug nuts clockwise To avoid the risk of forcing the vehicle off the jack do not tighten the nuts fully until the vehicle has been lowered Lower the vehicle by turning the jack screw counterclockwise and remove the jack and wheel blocks NOTE If the jack will not lower by turning the screw by hand it may be necessary to use the jack drive tube in order to lower the jack e Finish tightening the lug nuts using a crisscross pattern Push down on the wrench while tightening for increased leverage The correct wheel nut tightness is e 130 ft Ibs 177 N m torque for 1500 Series e 135 ft Ibs 183 N m torque for 2500 3500 single rear wheel SRW models e 145 ft Ibs 197 N m for 3500 dual rear wheel models e f in doubt about the correct tightness have them checked with a torque wrench by your authorized dealer or at a service station e Install the wheel

Idle the vehicle with the air conditioner turned off until the pointer drops back into the normal range If the pointer remains on HOT H and you hear continuous chimes turn the engine off immediately and call for service You or others can be badly burned by hot engine coolant antifreeze or steam from your radiator If you see or hear steam coming from under the hood do not open the hood until the radiator has had time to cool Never try to open a cooling system pressure cap when the radiator or coolant bottle is hot 67 WHAT TO DO IN EMERGENCIES JACKING AND TIRE CHANGING Jack Location Remove the plastic access cover located on the side of the seat by ack amp Tire Changi pulling the front part of the cover duct Behind closest to the front of the seat toward you to release a locking tab e The jack and jack tools are stored under the front passenger seat Once the front of the cover is loose slide the cover toward the front of the seat until it is free from the seat frame e Remove the jack and tools by removing the wing bolt and sliding the assembly from under the seat Spare Tire Stowage NOTE Remove the spare tire before attempting to jack up the truck e To remove the spare tire remove the jack handle components from the storage area and assemble them e Attach the wheel wrench to the jack extension tube and insert the tube through the access hole in the rear bumper and int
