ENELEC Class A the RF shielding plate have to me mounted between the bottom of the housing and the cable shells Using PG11 or other connectors the RF shielding plate is not necessary Stripping Cables Cable sizes from 5 17mm outer sheat can be utilized with the cable shell system Cable types with outer sheat diameter of above 17mm can also be applied using traditional PG11 or 5 8 connectors Please see the column about using PG11 connectors The dielectric and outer conductor of the stripped cable must be placed as close as possible to the PCB ensuring the best possible return loss performance IP 66 Using the COMEGA Rubber Cap RC will increase the IP to 66 utilizing the ConFree cable shell system The rubber cap fits all cables within the dimension of 6 17mm Mounted on every port it improves protection against steam dust and other environmental influences Using PG11 connectors Using traditional PG11 connectors or adaptors requires insertion of the ConFree PG11A Mount the PG11A before inserting the PG11 connector or adaptor which will maintain the overall good return loss Mounted the PG11A tube must cover the inner pin of the PG11 connector or adaptor Having existing cables with traditional connectors you can utilize our high performance adaptors specially develop for the COMEGA ConFree platform The design ensures the maintenance of good return loss
