1. Holding a call Handsfree If the handsfree mode is active the mouth symbol is highlighted in yellow oo OOO OOOH QOL 0 e If a display is in the power saving mode the first time a button is pressed this only reactivates the dis play and has no other function Procedure e Incoming calls are picked up using the green Pick up button e f you pick up the call by pressing the Mouth button the call will be held in the handsfree mode e If the cordless handset is in the charging cradle the call can also be picked up using the Mouth button on the charging cradle Procedure e To lock and unlock the keypad hold down the Hash button until the Key symbol in the status bar at the top of the display appears disappears Note If the keypad lock is switched on it is also not possible to call emergency numbers Procedure e Enter the required call number using the numerical keypad e After entering the first numbers these are indicated by the display e Corrections can be made using the display button lt C Procedure To establish a call press the green Pick up button Procedure e To establish a call in the handsfree mode press the left hand display button with the mouth symbol If the handsfree mode is active the mouth symbol is highlighted in yellow Getting started Telephony Call silencing If required all ringtones can be muted Incoming calls are then only sig

18. ctly connected to the base station the telephone network e Check for correct connection 3 Your telephone system requires a different external line digit a different dialling pause than the one which is set e When you call your cordless handset from a public network telephone the display of your cord less handset tells you whether the TC system automatically adds the external line digit for incoming calls or not e Try the various dialling pauses in the Settings gt System menu e Take into account the default settings of your telephone system in your Scope cordless handset set tings It is not possible to call back the numbers entered in the call list 1 Your telephone system automatically adds a O as a prefix or incoming calls For this you have preselected the external line digit O in the system settings Your elephone system saves incoming calls in the call lists with the zero automatically added This means hat you phone the entries in the call ist back with a double 0 e You can find out the presettings of your phone system using the fol owing process e Call your cordless handset from a public network telephone e The display on your cordless handset will tell you about the pre settings of your telephone system for instance the prefixed 0 e If there is a O already entered select the option No in the system settings under External line digit e Take into account the general default settings
