1. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ECOMAN Beamer IR 10 3 The ECOMAN Beamer can be used to power a beamer or a projector The total power consumption of the connected device must not exceed 2300 W Setup a Place the ECOMAN next to or on top of the beamer or projector so that you can see the front of the ECOMAN Its positioning is important because the ECOMAN is meant to receive and process the signal from the IR remote control b Insert the connection 1 of the beamer or projector to be used into the ECOMAN s socket 2 c Insert the ECOMAN plug 3 into the power supply socket 4 d Switch the main switch on the beamer or projector on and leave it on throughout This completes the setting up of your ECOMAN Functions Operation Switch on e The ECOMAN is activated by using the IR remote control for your beamer or projector e The LED on the ECOMAN lights up The connected device is then in standby mode Now activate your connected beamer or projector using the remote control Ifthe beamer or projector is activated and switched on the LED will light up Ifthe beamer or projector is not activated then the ECOMAN will switch the beamer or projector off the LED will blink from the power supply after 3 minutes Automatic Switch off e Switch the connected beamer or projector off in the usual way using the remote control The LED on the ECOMAN is blinking After 5 minutes the ECOMAN will automatically switch the connected beamer or pro
2. jector off from the power supply the LED on the ECOMAN and the indicator light on the beamer or projector will then go out General Warnings and Cautions e Devices that are connected to the ECOMAN which do not receive sufficient current or are not powered by a battery may lose their memory Such devices must be connected directly to the power supply Take note of the relevant operating instructions e To completely cut the connected device off from the power supply the ECOMAN plug must be removed e The ECOMAN must not be exposed to moisture or liquids e The ECOMAN must not be disposed of with normal domestic waste instead it must be taken to a suitable public collection point 4 2 F ECOMAN Technical Information Model ECOMAN Beamer IR 10 3 CE Supply 230 VAC 50 Hz Max load 2300 W Max private consumption standby 0 1 W Made to Getatron specification Corresponds to 2004 108 EC and 2006 95 EG safety standards and EEC guidelines
