6. red to the bottom and the fire will be out in 3 5 minutes 2 Make sure the fire has been extinguished 3 Never fail to extinguish the fire before you move the heater to another place or leave the room in which the heater is used ee uM ee TAKE CARE OF THE WICK 1 The wick which is in glass fibre can not have its top scissored off 2 But when it is used for a long time a tar like substance is deposited on its top affecting the sucking up of fuel and the wick s vertical movement To remove this tar like substance you will wash the wick with kerosene resulting in better sucking up of oil and smoother movement of the wick 3 You will wash the wick once in 20 to 30 days TO EXCHANGE WICKS 1 Remove the guard frame by unscrewing the three fixed nuts 2 Remove the chimney 3 Pull off the supporter by unscrewing the four fixed nuts 4 Loosen the wick adjustment nut on the wick adjustment by turning it counter clockwise and pull the wick adjustment towards you 5 Pull up the wick holder together with the wick 6 Clean the wick guide suppcrter etc 7 Remove the old wick from the wick holder 8 Insert a new wick inside the wick holder and let the wick be stuck by the pricks inside the wick holder The top of the wick should be evenly exposed by 59mm above the top of the wick holder 9 The wick holder lined with a wick is then to be applied down the wick guide
