1. 4 14 x 21 1 8 Wall cutout Page 5 INSTALLING THE WALL SAFE To make the safe installation as easy as possible you can remove the door see the next page for instructions Note DOOR REMOVAL IS OPTIONAL 1 Install your wall safe into the wall so that the hinge side of the safe is flush against the right hand stud and the front flange is flat against the wall Mark the stud using the 4 outer slots in the front piece of the wall safe to indicate where the pilot holes need to be drilled 2 Remove wall safe and drill 1 16 1 8 diameter pilot holes 3 Now that the pilot holes have been drilled you can fasten the safe into the wall Use 4 sets of HARDWARE D through the 4 outer slots in the front piece of the wall safe Note Do not over tighten there may be a little gap between the left hand stud and the safe this is normal 4 Install expandable shelves as needed Mark the stud Install hinge side first use the outer slots Drill pilot holes REMOVING THE DOOR OPTIONAL To make the safe installation as easy as possible you can remove the door IMPORTANT Secure the door while removing the top hinge pin in STEP 3 because once the pin is removed the door will no longer be secured to the safe 1 Removethesetscrews located on the top and bottom hinge 2 Remove the first all thread screw in the bottom hinge using a 6 millimeter allen wrench and back out the second all thread screw Also remove

3. on for 5 seconds INVALID CODE The keypad BEEPS 6 TIMES while the ORANGE LIGHT turns on after entering a code LOCKOUT PENALTY If an incorrect code is entered three times in a row then you will activate the lockout period During the lockout period the keypad will not respond and the ORANGE LIGHT WILL FLASH EVERY SECOND until the lockout period is over The lockout period will last for approximately 3 MINUTES PROGRAMMING 1 Open your safe and locate the red program button on the inside of your door 2 Press the red program button and release and the keypad will beep once and the orange light on the keypad will turn on for 10 to 15 seconds 3 Before the orange light turns off enter your new 3 to 8 digit code and confirm by entering the B key VALID RESPONSE 4 BEEPS 4 TEST YOUR NEW CODE 3 or more times before closing the door and write down your combination 5 Ifa mistake has been made wait for the orange light to turn off and repeat steps 1 4 INTERIOR LIGHT PROGRAMMING SWITCH BUTTON iii BATTERV ii COMPARTMENT Ir j7 7 3 4 LOCKING BOLTS INTERIOR LIGHT BACK PANEL LOCATED ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR INTERIOR LIGHT The interior light is controlled bv a switch located on the top edge of the door s back panel NOTE Alwavs remember to turn the light off before closing the door or it will drain batteries If batteries do get drained when the safe is locked use your override kevs Page 3 INSTALLA

TION SECTION age amp SECURING THE TELESCOPING BACK Using 6 sets of HARDWARE C attach the middle section of the telescoping back first Keep screws loose enough so the depth can be adjusted 2 Using 6 sets of HARDWARE B attach the back section of telescoping back Keep screws loose enough so the depth can be adjusted 3 Now that both sections have been attached determine the maximum depth available in your wall 4 Adjust amp secure both sections of the telescoping back to the determined depth Do not over tighten screws t FRONT SECTION ATTACHING THE ATTACHING THE MIDDLE SECTION BACK SECTION BACK SECTION FLANGE FLANGE FLANGE INSIDE OF INSIDE OF WALL SAFE WALL SAFE MIDDLE SECTION SHELF EXTENSIONS Your wall safe comes with shelf extensions The shelf extensions come in 2 sizes install the shelf extensions that work best with your depth We recommend installing the shelves after the safe has been installed into the wall When using the larger shelves you can install the shorter shelves to add extra support under the large ones Use 2 sets of HARDWARE A for each shelf extension CHOOSING THE LOCATION IMPORTANT Be sure to pick a wall free of plumbing pipes and electrical wires Use caution when cutting into drywall The wall safe is 14 wide and is designed to fit between standard 16 center to center wall framing Note Most homes have wall framing construction of 2x4 s and or 2x6 s that a
6. re located 16 from center of stud to center of stud TOOLS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION Tape Measure Pencil Drill Dry Wall Saw or Jig Saw Framing Square Screwdriver Phillips amp Flathead Flashlight 6mm Allen Wrench For door removal NOTE Instructions shown are for wood framed wall installation WALL CUTOUT 1 Determine the approximate location of the stud for the right hand side of your wall safe hinge side Drill or cut a large enough pilot hole to determine where the inside edge of the stud is located Using a framing square draw a 21 1 8 vertical pencil line along the inside edge of the stud This will locate the right hand hinged side of the safe From the top of your scribed line measure 14 to the left and make a pencil mark Repeat this step at the bottom of your scribed line Using a framing square draw a vertical line between the pencil marks locating the left side of your safe With the framing square draw a horizontal line at the top of the 21 1 8 measurement joining the 2 vertical lines Repeat this step at the bottom You now have a 14 x 21 1 8 rectangle scribed on the wall between the studs With the dry wall saw or equivalent tool starting at the pilot hole cut along the pencil lines and remove the wall section NOTE The outer flange will cover the cut line I 21 1 8 Pilot Hole I I l I I I l I l I l I I I l I Stud 5 pnjg

8. ter to center studs Cutout a 21 1 8 High x 14 wide section in your wall Remove door Optional Mark and Drill 1 16 1 8 pilot holes into studs Anchor your wall safe Install shelf extensions if needed DOLO OVERRIDE KEY SYSTEM For your convenience we have engineered a manual override key system for your safe If you forgot or misplaced your combination or if the batteries die remove the plastic cap located below the keypad Insert the key and turn counter clockwise Pull the chrome handle This will manually open your safe Two keys included CHANGING BATTERIES The battery compartment is located on the inside of the door If the batteries die while the safe is locked please use the mechanical override keys provided to gain access into your safe Safe runs on 4 AA BATTERIES LOW BATTERY WARNING If the batteries are low the RED LIGHT will illuminate or the SAFE WILL NOT UNLOCK after entering the correct code Page 2 YOUR SAFE IS PRESET TO CODE 159 Set the lock to your own unique code immediately this is highly recommended HOW TO OPERATE YOUR SAFE 1 Enter your code on and then enter A the GREEN LIGHT will turn on 2 Pull the handle before the GREEN LIGHT turns off and open the door 3 To lock the safe close the door and push handle back to the closed position 4 ALWAYS CHECK YOUR SAFE always assure it s locked before walking away VALIDE CODE The GREEN LIGHT on the keypad will turn
