1. 000900 Timer Mode Up button Down Fan ON OFF button button button button button Functions Setting This portable air conditioner has three functions Cooling Dehumidifying and Fan Fan has two speeds high speed and low speed Temperature setting is 17 30 C CC 62 86F 24 hour timer Sensor and water level protection function Buttons The control panel has six keys Power Mode Fan Speed Timer Up and Down key a Power Key Press this key to turn unit On or Off b Mode Key Set the Cooling Dehumidifying or Fan Mode When unit is Off the Mode key will set the Timer On mode c Fan Speed Pres this key to set the fan speed The fan speed changes in a loop from Low to High to Low This key will not work during Dehumidifying Mode d Timer Key Press this key to set the Timer Off function while in the Timer On mode When setting the time the Regular time indicator will illumine and after time is set the display will show the room temperature again in the Off mode e Up Down Key Press any of these two keys to set the desired room temperature Pressing the Up or Down key once will change the temperature by 1 C or 1 F and can also set the time in Timer Mode set up By pressing both keys at same time can also change the display from C to FF The Up and Down Keys on the remote control can also be pressed simultaneously to change the temperature display from C to F Page 9 15 2 Operation instructions of the uni2. with the right hand put one end of the heat exhaust hose that is pulled apart onto the snap of the lower air duct bottom press the C clamp buckle with the left hand so that the C clamp clips locks in place as shown in Figure 3 Note 1 The end of the hose must reach the lower air duct as shown in Figure 4 2 The few turns at the end of the exhaust hose must be snapped in firmly 3 The C clamp must clip the back shell and heat exhaust hose firmly Position of lower air duct bottom step D D mal K A MIS AS G m i iil uad 2 Lower air duct bottom joint Figure 3 Figure 4 3 Hold the unit with one hand and the heat exhaust hose short connector with another hand or one person holds the unit and another person pulls the hose to extend it Note 1 Do not separate the heat exhaust hose assembly from the unit 2 Do not tilt the unit when extending the heat exhaust hose 1 3 Installation of the Window Frame Adaptor 2 Half open the window and mount the window frame adaptor board onto the window frame either vertically or horizontally as shown in Figure 5 and 6 3 Pull apart the parts of the window adaptor board assembly and adjust the distance of the window frame adaptor so that the two ends of the assembly come into contact with the window frame Fasten the 2 parts of the assembly with the screws provided top nm E a a

15. plug the power plug wrap the power cord around the wire winding post insert the plug into the universal jack at the back shell of the unit Do not forget to install the water plug and drain cap 4 Remove the heat exhaust hose assembly and store it in a safe place Note to remove the heat exhaust hose assembly hold the handle of the C shape buckle of the heat exhaust hose by hand pull the C shape buckle outward evenly rotate the C shape buckle of the heat exhaust hose clockwise Once the buckle is separated from the snap position of the C shape buckle take out the heat exhaust hose assembly 5 Pack the air conditioner properly with soft plastic bag put the unit in a dry place take appropriate dust proof measures Keep the unit out of the reach of children 6 Take out the batteries of the remote control and keep it properly Note ensure that the unit is put in a dry place All accessories of the unit shall be protected properly Page 14 15 Troubleshooting Never attempt to repair the air conditioner yourself Disqualified repair will void the warranty card and may cause harm to the removal personnel and property If you encounter any of the problems listed in the table below or the recommended remedy does not work contact the professional service agency Problem fault indication Cause Remedy The air conditioner does not work No power Connect the unit to a live socket and turn it on Full water ind
16. t The unit will shut down automatically after the buzzer gives off 5 beeps For more information about the drain method refer to Water Drainage If the unit is not shut down manually the unit will be restored to the previous operating status automatically once the water is fully drained Power may be turned on to start the unit 3 Delay protection function of the compressor This unit uses restart protection for the compressor The compressor will start immediately when the unit is energized for the first time but there is 3 minute delay re start protection after the compressor is shut down Water Drainage 1 Manual drain as shown in Figure 10 1 When the unit stops from full water protectioriurn the power off and unplug the power plug Note move the unit carefully to avoid spilling the water tray at the bottom of the unit 2 Put the pan below the water outlet at the back of the unit 3 Screw off the drain cap unplug the water plug and water will flow into the pan Note 1 Protect the drain cap and water plug properly 2 Tilt the unit slightly backward when draining to ensure complete drainage 3 make sure the drain pan is big enough to hold all water from the unit to prevent the water from overflowing onto the ground or carpet 4 Once the water is fully drained insert the water plug and screw on the water cap tightly Note 1 Turn on the unit only after the water plug and drain cap are installed properly otherwise the co

19. y leave the air conditioner in an upright position while moving it The air conditioner shall be placed on a flat ground surface Do not install or operate this air conditioner in a bathroom or other wet environments 1 1 Installation of the C shape buckle to the heat exhaust hose and unit C clamp swings away off the back vent swivel shaft Snap joint of the C clamp buckle on the back vent Figure 1 C clamp swivel hole Si ra 6 Figure 2 Page 6 15 1 Take the heat exhaust hose C clamp buckle off the plastic bag 2 Point the swivel hole at the end of the C clamp towards the swivel shaft at the back of the vent Set it onto the swivel shaft on the back exhaust vent as shown in Figure 1 Note 1 When the end snap joint at the end of the swivel shaft sticks out of the snap it means that the heat exhaust hose clamp has been set into place 3 Rotate the C clamp buckle and set into place counterclockwise to clip the snap joint of the C clamp buckle successfully through the guide of the swivel shaft at the back vent as shown in Figure 2 Note 1 Do not rotate the C clamp if it is not set into place as this may cause damage to the rotation shaft and the C clamp 1 2 Installation of the Heat Exhaust Hose Assembly to the A C unit 1 Pull the end of the heat exhaust hose apart by several turns 2 Hold the end of the C clamp buckle with the left hand and the heat exhaust hose end connector 28
