1. Installation New Construction amp Remodeling The only roof vent boot flashing you install from INSIDE the building OVER shingles or similar roofing materials which forms a weather tight seal for vent pipe penetrations Patented and proven the Kozy Kollar utilizes three independent gasket systems that are designed to work in conjunction with each other to Keep out the elements and Keeps You Off The Roof Step 1 From inside the building square the template between the roof rafters Cut the roof using a reciprocating saw equipped with a rough in blade The downward pull of the blade will cut the shingles cleanly Step 2 Apply a thin bead of the sealant supplied with the Kozy Kollar into the Main Seal With four of the six threaded studs installed pass the Kozy Kollar through the opening and position it on the shingles The stud will hold the Kollar in place Step 3 Install the two remaining studs position the Lower Mounting Plates Install the six rod coupling and tighten to 8 ft lbs JOBS DONE
