4. gainst defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one 1 year from the date of original retail purchase No other parts or components are warranted There is no warranty for defects caused by abuse Repairs or replacement parts supplied under this warranty are warranted only for the period of this warranty that is one 1 year from the date of the original retail purchase of the unit In the event of a defect or malfunction we will replace or repair the defective part or component only and return the new or repaired part to you freight prepaid You must bear all other expenses incurred in obtaining repairs including labor required for field repair or replacement and the cost of shipping the defective part to us You must also bear the cost of repair to or replacement of any part or component and the shipping charges incurred for the repair or replacement and return to you of any part or component not covered by this warranty including parts or components damaged by you The company reserves the right to demand and receive written evidence of the date of purchase before undertaking to perform its obligations under this warranty You should therefore retain your sales slip and attach a copy of it to the warranty claim In order to obtain the repair or replacement of this unit you must select one of the following methods A Return to factory Return postage prepaid only the part or component which you believe to be defective to the followin
5. ial to select a comforable temperature 6 The fan heater stops and starts automatically and thus keeps the room temperature constant Z Before turning off heater turn the thermostat to the OFF position and turn the heating knob to Fan or Off then let the appliance cool down for two minutes 8 After use turn off the heater first then pull out the plug MAINTENANCE 1 Before cleaning the appliance disconnect it from the socket and let it cool down If the heater enclosure is dirty wipe it gently with a soft sponge For other dirty compontents wipe with a sponge dipped in lt 113 F water and mild detergent then dry the heater enclosure with a clean cloth Be careful not to let water enter the inner parts of the appliance Never use flammable liquids solvents or cleaning solvents to clean the heater in order to protect the flammable enclosure 2 Clean the cord and plug then dry and pack it in a plastic bag WARNING Do not immerse the heater in water Do not use any cleaning chemicals such as detergents or abrasives Do not allow the interior to get wet as this could pose a hazard 3 When you store the heater let it cool down first keeping it dry Cover it with a plastic bag then put it in a packing box and store it in a dry ventilated place 4 In case of malfunction or doubt do not try to repair the heater yourself as it may result in a fire hazard or electric shock IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using an electric
