5. ial to select a comforable temperature 6 The fan heater stops and starts automatically and thus keeps the room temperature constant Z Before turning off heater turn the thermostat to the OFF position and turn the heating knob to Fan or Off then let the appliance cool down for two minutes 8 After use turn off the heater first then pull out the plug MAINTENANCE 1 Before cleaning the appliance disconnect it from the socket and let it cool down If the heater enclosure is dirty wipe it gently with a soft sponge For other dirty compontents wipe with a sponge dipped in lt 113 F water and mild detergent then dry the heater enclosure with a clean cloth Be careful not to let water enter the inner parts of the appliance Never use flammable liquids solvents or cleaning solvents to clean the heater in order to protect the flammable enclosure 2 Clean the cord and plug then dry and pack it in a plastic bag WARNING Do not immerse the heater in water Do not use any cleaning chemicals such as detergents or abrasives Do not allow the interior to get wet as this could pose a hazard 3 When you store the heater let it cool down first keeping it dry Cover it with a plastic bag then put it in a packing box and store it in a dry ventilated place 4 In case of malfunction or doubt do not try to repair the heater yourself as it may result in a fire hazard or electric shock IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using an electric
6. oisture 12 Do not use in places where gasoline paint or other flammable liquids are used or stored 13 This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms laundry areas or similar indoor locations Never locate the heater where it may fall into a bath tub or other body of water 14 Do not run the cord under carpeting Do not cover the cord with throw rugs runners or the like Arrange the cord away from traffic areas and where it will not be tripped over 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 Do not use on soft surfaces like a bed where openings may become blocked Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord damaged plug after the heater malfunctions or if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner Return the heater to an authorized service facility for examination electrical or mechanical adjustment or repair Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause electric shock or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock fire or damage the heater This heater is hot when in use To avoid burns do not let bare skin touch the hot surfaces If provided use handles when moving this heater Always unplug the heater before moving Use this heater only as described in this manual Any other uses not recommended by the manufacture may cause fire electric shock or personal injury and may void the
