ING To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock do not use this fan with any solid state speed control device If you feel you do not have enough electrical wiring knowledge or experience have your fan installed by a licensed electrician Black White Green Follow the steps below to connect the fan to your household wiring Use the plastic wire nuts AA with your fan Secure the plastic wire nuts AA with electrical tape Make sure there are no loose strands or connections Connect the ground conductor of the 120V supply this may be a bare wire or a wire with green colored insulation to the green ground lead s of the fan When using standard ceiling mounting there are two green grounding leads one from the mounting bracket A and one from the hanger ball downrod assembly E When using close to ceiling mounting there is only one green ground lead from the mounting bracket A since the hanger ball downrod assembly E is not used Connect the fan motor white wire to the supply white neutral wire using a plastic wire nut AA Connect the fan motor black wire to the supply black hot wire using a plastic wire nut AA 12 Assembly Hanging the Fan continued 7 Standard ceiling mounting 7b Close to ceiling mounting WARNING Make sure the tab on the mounting bracket A WARNING Locking slots of the canopy C are provided properly sits in the groove in th

9. e collar at the top of the fan motor assembly G Align the mounting holes in the bottom of the canopy C with the holes in the top of the fan motor assem bly G Fasten using the three collar mounting screws with lock washers DD previously removed Tighten the collar mounting screws DD securely Preparing the motor Remove three of the six collar mounting screws with lock washers DD every other one from the collar on top of the fan motor assembly G Assembly Hanging the Fan AN Attaching the fan to the electrical box WARNING To reduce the risk of fire electric shock or other personal injury mount the fan only to an outlet box or supporting system marked acceptable for fan support and use the mounting screws provided with the outlet box Da Pass the 120 volt supply wires through the center hole in the mounting bracket A Attach the mounting bracket A on the outlet box MM by sliding the mounting bracket A over the screws provided with the outlet box When using close to ceiling mounting it is important that the mounting bracket A be level If necessary use leveling washers not included between the mount ing bracket A and the outlet box MM Note that the flat side of the mounting bracket A is toward the outlet box MM Securely tighten the two mounting screws Hanging instructions for standard mounting MM

12. fault with the motor the current monitoring function will automatically turn power off to the motor after 30 seconds Remove the obstruction and turn the AC power off Restore power and re start fan motor Over 80W protection When the receiver detects motor power consumption which is greater than 80W the receiver power will be stopped and operation will immediately discontinue Wait for 5 seconds and then turn the receiver power back on LL 16 Operation continued INSTALLING THE REMOTE CONTROL HOLDER Remove the remote control holder cover FF from the remote control holder K Attach the remote control holder K with the two remote control holder mounting screws EE provided Replace the remote control holder cover FF into remote control holder K REVERSE SWITCH OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Speed settings for warm or cool weather depend on factors such as the room size ceiling height number of fans and so on NOTE To operate the reverse function on this fan press the for rev button while the fan is running ja Warm weather Counterclockwise Direction A downward air flow creates a cooling effect This allows you to set your air conditioner on a warmer setting without affecting your comfort Cool weather Clockwise Direction An upward air flow moves warm air off the ceiling This allows you to set your heating unit on a cooler setting wit

17. nting 1 Preparing the canopy 2 Preparing the motor Remove the cotter pin HH and clevis pin GG and loosen the two collar setscrews KK from the motor collar Remove the canopy ring B from the canopy C Remove the two non slotted mounting bracket screws BB from the canopy C and loosen the slotted mounting bracket screws BB on the canopy C Take out the setscrew JJ located in the hanger ball 00 lower the hanger ball 00 and remove the cross pin Il Remove the hanger ball 00 from the hanger ball downrod assembly E Remove the canopy C from the mounting bracket A by turning the canopy C counterclockwise Remove the ground lead PP from the downrod assembly E BB EN Assembling the fan Carefully reinstall the hanger ball 00 onto the downrod QQ and reinstall the ground lead PP onto the downrod 3 QQ being sure that the cross Il is in the correct WARNING Failure to properly install the cotter pin HH position the setscrew JJ is tightened and wires are not could result in the fan loosening and possibly falling twisted NOTE If a longer downrod not included is needed take out the screw located in the hanger ball 00 lower the hanger ball 00 and remove the pin II Remove all three pieces from the downrod and assemble them ont

20. ontrol The auto learning function will only mandate within 60 seconds when turning the fan s AC power ON Select desired frequency from the back of transmitter From the back of the transmitter press the SET button and hold the SET button for over 5 seconds Once the receiver has detected the frequency the light will flash twice and the fan will automatically begin to operate and start to rotate in the counterclockwise direction and on the highest RPM for 3 minutes When counterclockwise rotation has finished the fan will automatically reverse to clockwise direction again to the highest RPM for 3 minutes Fan will shut off when the self calibration test has finished The total self calibration test will last about 6 minutes NOTE If the self calibration test failed turn the AC power off restore power and process the self calibra tion test again NOTE During self calibration test the remote is non fuctional NOTE The learning frequency function and self Calibration test will continue to retain the last set frequency and calibration set even when the AC power is shut off If the frequency is changed the self calibra tion test will occur again This receiver provides the following protective function Lock Rotor Position The DC motor has a built in safety against a stalled or locked rotor condition stalled blade rotation If there is an obstruction or
