1. C K E T Using an orange wire connector from the hardware bag connect the 3 grounding wires green green yellow stripe or bare copper coming from the ceiling downrod and hanging bracket green yellow stripe grounding green yellow stripe green yellow stripe white black blue white common out black fan out blue light out Note To connect the wires hold the bare metal leads together and place a wire connector over them then twist clockwise until tight Using the blue wire connectors from the remote control hardware bag connect the white wire from the receiver marked common out to the white wire from fan Connect the black wire from the receiver marked fan out to the black wire from the fan Connect the blue wire from the receiver marked light out to the blue wire from the fan The red wire from the receiver will not be used it has a pre installed wire terminator F R O M F A N F R O M F A N F R O M R E C E I V E R Using an orange wire connector from the hardware bag connect the black wire ungrounded from the ceiling to the black wire from the receiver marked live in Connect the white wire grounded from the ceiling to the white wire from the receiver marked neutral in or common in F R

Screw two 2 housing assembly screws from the hardware bag halfway into the motor housing It does not matter which two screw holes you choose Insert the third screw found in the hardware bag into place and then tighten all three 3 screws Make sure the upper switch housing is securely attached to the mounting plate Failure to properly secure all 3 assembly screws could result in the switch housing fixture falling Switch Housing 13 M0074 01 05 06 13 Hunter Fan Company www HunterFan com 1 888 830 1326 Switch Housing continued Make sure the lower switch housing is securely attached to the upper switch housing Failure to properly secure all three assembly screws could result in the switch housing falling Connect the plugs from the upper and lower switch housings Make sure to line up the colored markings on the connectors Lift the lower switch housing until its screw holes are aligned with the screw holes in the upper switch housing Install the three switch housing screws found in the hardware bag Tighten all three screws CONGRATUALTIONS YOU RE DONE 14 M0074 01 05 06 13 Hunter Fan Company www HunterFan com 1 888 830 1326 Within 3 minutes of restoring power to the fan press both the Fan Off button and the High button for at least 4 seconds Your fan will turn on low to indicate successful syncing If it does not turn off power to your fan wait
3. 1 minute then try again If using the transmitter with multiple fans repeat this process for each fan Note The remote must be paired before the fan will operate Fan Off High To install the transmitter cradle remove the two screws holding your switch cover plate Do not remove the cover plate Orient the cradle by lining up the two mounting holes with those on the cover plate Insert and tighten the screws Do not over tighten The Fan Off button only turns the fan off To turn the fan on press one of the fan speed buttons High Medium Low Operation Maintenance amp Cleaning ON Turn Power To access the battery compartment remove the small Phillips head screw that secures the battery door to the transmitter assembly The battery should be installed with the positive side up Replace with a CR2032 battery when necessary Phillips Head Screw Battery Door ooo oo o Low Medium High Fan Off 15 M0074 01 05 06 13 Hunter Fan Company www HunterFan com 1 888 830 1326 16 M0074 01 05 06 13 Hunter Fan Company 16 For cleaning the fan use soft brushes or cloths to prevent scratching Cleaning products may damage the finishes Operation Maintenance amp Cleaning continued Reverse Switch To switch the direction of air flow move the reverse switch to the opposite position You will need to remove the light kit glass
4. 5 06 13 Hunter Fan Company KEEP 8 3 8 C U T amp S T R I P not to scale Remove the pre installed setscrew so that the downrod can be inserted Hand tighten the downrod at least 4 5 full turns until it stops The wires can be cut but leave at least 8 extending from the top of the downrod Downrod continued 8 3 8 Tighten the setscrew with pliers DO NOT HAND TIGHTEN If the setscrew is not tightened securely the fan may fall K E E P 1 888 830 1326 www HunterFan com 8 M0074 01 05 06 13 Hunter Fan Company 1 888 830 1326 9 M0074 01 05 06 13 Hunter Fan Company www HunterFan com Downrod continued DO NOT PICK THE FAN UP BY THE CANOPY OR WIRES Place the downrod ball into the slot in the ceiling bracket Put the wires and downrod through the canopy Let the canopy sit loosely on top of the fan www HunterFan com 1 888 830 1326 Wiring Turn the splices upward and push them carefully back through the hanger bracket into the outlet box Spread the wires apart with the grounded wires on one side of the outlet box and the ungrounded wires on the other side of the outlet box Refer to CAUTION c 1 on pg 2 F R O M R E C E I V E R F R O M C E I L I N G F R O M C E I L I N G B R A

O M C E I L I N G black ungrounded white grounded white neutral in black live in 10 M0074 01 05 06 13 Hunter Fan Company www HunterFan com 1 888 830 1326 11 M0074 01 05 06 13 Hunter Fan Company Canopy Lift the canopy into place so that the screw holes are aligned Position the canopy so that when lifted into place the canopy fits into the hanging bracket as shown Screw Holes Insert the two canopy screws found in the hardware bag Note Fan style may vary www HunterFan com 1 888 830 1326 M0074 01 05 06 13 Hunter Fan Company Blades Your blades are shielded with Dust Armor which is a nanotechnology coating that repels dust For cleaning the fan use soft brushes or cloths to prevent scratching Cleaning agents may damage the finishes 12 Insert grommets found in the hardware bag into the holes in the blades then secure each blade to a blade iron with screws found in the hardware bag Remember the screws that you kept after removing the shipping blocks page 6 You need them for this step Lightly attach the blade irons to the motor with the blade iron armature screws then securely tighten after both screws are attached www HunterFan com 1 888 830 1326 Feed the wire plug through the center hole of the upper switch housing then wrap keyhole slots around the screws and twist counterclockwise
