1. Installing the bulbs and attaching the glass bowl CAUTION Make sure the power is off before attaching or removing the glass bowl WARNING Allow the glass bowl to cool completely before removing Remove the finial from the switch cup light kit assembly With power off install the two bulbs I by twisting them into the light bulb sockets Position the glass bowl H over the threaded nipple and pass the pull chain for the fan through the hole under the glass bowl H gt Re install the finial Attach the pull chain extension FF CAUTION Over lamping the fan will result in the fan lights A shutting down until the proper wattage bulbs are installed Reset the lights by turning off the power replacing the bulbs with the correct wattage bulbs and turn the power on 11 HAMPTONBAY COM Please contact 1 877 527 0313 for further assistance Operation Turn on the power and check the operation of the fan The pull chain controls the fan speeds as follows 1 pull High 2 pulls Medium 3 pulls Low 4 pulls off The appropriate speed settings for warm or cool weather depends on factors such as the room size ceiling height and number of fans The slide switch controls the direction of the blades forward switch down or reverse switch up NOTE Wait for the fan to stop before reversing the direction of blade rotation2.
