1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR 15142 For Wall Mount Fixture WARNING SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCU BREAKER PREPARATION 1 Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box If necessary Remover old fixture and all mounting hardware from wall junction box 2 Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clear area Take not to loose any small parts necessary for installation MOUNTING THE FIXTURE FIG 1 3 The circular strap contains several pairs of threaded holes Find the pair of holes that match the hole spacing in your fixture canopy and thread the two mounting screws part way into the circular strap Secure circular strap to outlet box not provided with outlet box screws through 5 Tuck these wire connections neatly into the wall junction box Place the canopy over the mounting screws COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION 6 Install the proper light bulbs for your fixture DO NOT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED WATTAGE 7 Place the glass over the socket then secure it Return the power to the junction box and test the fixture Your installation is now complete Nase Fig 2 FIXTURE 7 FIXTURE 7 slotted holes in circular strap WIRES WRES FIXTURE Wie Cien or CONNECTING THE WIRES FIG 2 Bio Bare 4 Connect the fixture wires to the junction box uet wires as shown in Fig 2 Make sure all wire X Ground connecters are secure and do not easily pull off HOUSE HOUSE HOUSE P ii i i WRES with a2. slight tug If there is no Green ground wire WRES WRES A White Green or from the junction box connect the fixture ground Black N Bare Copper wire to the circular strap or the cross bar with the Hot Neutral Ground green screw provided Fig 1 JUNCTION BOX WALL BLACK WIRE WHITE WIRE GREEN SCREW OUTLE BOX SCREW THUMB SCREW GLASS
