1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Item 6684 143 613 New 03 28 2011 READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS WARNING SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER MOUNTING THE FIXTURE Fig 1 1 Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove old fixture including the mounting hardware Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as shown in the illustration Position mounting plate A on the wall and mark location of two dry wall anchors H Pre drill the holes for the dry wall anchors Insert the dry wall anchors H into the wall Attach the mounting plate A to the junction box in the wall using the screws B The side of the mounting plate marked GND must face out Place the wood screws I through the hole into the dry wall anchors H to secure the mounting plate A The side of the mounting plate marked GND must face out CONNECTING THE WIRES Fig 2 6 At this point connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig 2 making sure that all wire connectors are secured If your outlet box has a ground wire green or bare copper connect the fixture s Ground Wire to it Otherwise connect the fixture s Ground Wire directly to the mounting plate using the Green Screw provided After wires are connected tuck them carefully inside the Junction Box FINISHING THE INSTALLATION Fig 1 7 Place Canopy C over Mounting Plate A fasten with Scre2. ws D by using Allen Wrench G Place Glass Shade E over socket and secure with Screw Shell F Install light bulbs not included in accordance with fixture specifications DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING Your installation is now complete Return power and test the fixture Note Illustration Fig 1 on this manual is for installation purposes only it may or may not be identical to the fixture purchased LA 1875E Gry ry TTT Ty 7 NR Wy i i i i i Copper H O Ground USE WIRES Green retires i Ground american s a lighting association
