1. w D 10 NSTALLATION For Modal 1689 14 KD NEW 2 LING THE FIXTURE Fig 1 amp 2 amp 3 off poner al the circuit breaker arid efully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the paris on a clear ay Take care not io lose any small parts necessary for installation Pass the Lead Wire Q through the Pipe D j het Pipe D into Pj ioe A tightly Pull side wires and Lead Wire Q f forn Arms a and Pipe D into Bottom Cap 1 then fix ee ae of Arm E ang Pipe D to its s shown in Fig amp Bs Feed Lead Wire Q and the other Lead Wire R through Joint Coupilng K then connect al side wires and Lead Wires together using Wires Nuts P as shown in Fig 2 Attention connec white wires to white wires connect black wires to black wires Pull Lead wire R through the hois of Top Cap L and Pipe G then screw Pipe G to Top Cap L tightly Pull side wires and Lead Wire R from Rad Pipes F and Pipe G into Bottom Cap M then fix six pieces of Rod Pipes F and Pipe G to the Bottom Cap M using Nuts J as shown in Fig 1 amp 3 Feed Lead Wire R and Fixture Wire T through Switch Coupling N then connect all wires together using Wires Nuts iP as show Fig g Attention connect white wires to white or marked fixture wires connect black wires to biack or unmarked fixture wires Pull Fixture Wire T through the hole of Top 5 C2. ap Q and Loop H then screw Loop H Top Cap O tightly t and screw them ieee Screw eo o tightly PPRUCTIONS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS For Chain Hung LightFixtures New 3 12 2002 IMPORTANT For a safe and secure installation these fixtures must be installed by means of support that are independent of the outlet box SUGGESTED INSTALLATION Fig 1 4 Provide a 1 4 IPS pipe with one end securely mounted to a beam or a structural member The other end should protrude through the center of the outlet box as shown 2 Assemble the ceiling loop nipple nuts and hickey to center 1 4 IPS support pipe and adjust overall length to allow the ring to hold the canopy flush to the ceiling When the adjustments have been completed secure the three nuts as shown 3 Attach the chain to the fixture loop Slip the lock collar and canopy over the upper end of the chain Open the end link of chain and lift the fixture to attach to the ceiling loop and secure the link 4 Lace the fixture wires ground and safety cable through the chain and loop exiting through the side of hickey Run cable through the top of the outlet box and secure to structural member CONNECTING THE WIRES Fig 2 5 Atthis point connect the electrical wire as shown in figure 3 making sure that all wire connectors are secured If your outlet has a ground wire green or bare copper connect the fix
