INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR 1232 580 Minka Lighting Inc This product is protected by United States Federal and or Patent and or Copyright laws __ State Law includin WARNING ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE Fig 2 1 Carefully unpack new fixture and lay all the parts on a clear surface 2 Place the tube A over the socket of the fixture body B 3 Hang the finial C to the fixture body B 4 Install a light bulb in accordance with the fixture s specifications DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING HANGING THE FIXTURE Fig 1 1 Shut off the power at the circuit breaker and remove old fixture trom ceiling including the old crossbar 2 Thread nipple C into loop F until snug 3 Thread other end of nipple C with loop attached into crossbar D until snug 4 Place lock washer B over end of nipple protruding through crossbar and thread hex nut A onto nipple until tight 5 Take this crossbar assembly and mount to ceiling junction box with Junction box screws E Tighten screws securely with screwdriver 6 Using proper chain pliers to open one end tink of the chain provided and connect to the fixture loop J Close the link 7 Lace the fixture wires through the chain 8 By measuring determine correct number of links needed for proper hanging height Using proper chain pliers disconnect and discard remaining chain 9 Slip loop collar H over the chain then do the same with the canopy G
